Quick note : Hindus did not demolish the Babri masjid. We deconstructed it. There's a difference in there. The report of KK Mohammad Sir and he himself in multiple interviews say that he stands with the OGness of Rama Lalaa on his birthplace. The mosque very much did have temple remains and the appearance of Rama Lalaa in there wasn't a right-wing move. The supreme court of India has anyway given land for the mosque at some distance from the janmabhoomi so it's a win-win for both the communities now ig. All the butthurt people crying over the deconstruction should also note that Rama Lalaa isn't some non-violence icon of our religion so kindly shut up. Saying that - "He wouldn't have wanted the temple because a mosque stood there once and y'all broke it" is plain stupidity because he himself said - "Janani janmabhoomishcha swargaadapi gariyasi." Both his mother and his motherland are more dear to him than any heaven. Shri Rama did hold up weapons in the favour of what is right when fighting numerous demons and proceeded to threaten the ocean into drying it lest it doesn't heed to him, after a three day penance. The prev governments here were very minority appeasing. One of them even got as far as to saying Shri Rama was fictional when we have plenty evidences of him being a venerated ancestor of ours. All of them fell on their fours when Rama Lalaa won his case in the supreme court. They don't give a shit about the majority sentiments here being oppressed (Hindus have a history of being oppressed even when we're in majority, in our homeland. Are we debating on that now? Oml). Babar should not have done what he did, so yeah like Hindus were just taking back what is rightfully ours. (For the sake of secularism and brotherhood, shouldn't they be understanding our sentiments as well? It has to go both ways, no?) We have been waiting for around 500 years for our god to come back to a palace from a tent and the pseudo-liberal meltdowns are personally very enjoyable to me. You should prolly save those tears for Mathura and Kashi case too. Ram mandir kisi ke baap ke paison se bana nahi hai. Hindus contributed to it. Temple towns were a thing in ancient India, still many of them exist in the south because the north has suffered voraciously due to invasions, never forget. No tax money has been used in the construction of the Rama temple. Hope that helps.

so how did you like my state
(sach bol sakte ho, mujhe bhi jtyada pasand nhi hai)
Well UP is very big and we just went to mathura vrindavan, but if u want me to be honest then here u go
Mathura, specially vrindavan was not so developed, it had very very old houses (uk like chandni chowk of delhi), TOO MANY monkeys everywhere (they were stealing stuff), most of the people I saw were hot tempered ready to fight or argue at any given moment, and god fucking dammnit the traffic was so frustrating, hard water wasn't helping in quenching the thirst, the devotees can actually be scary with their devotion and all they care is about seeing the god in the temple, and they can run over the other people if that's what it takes.
Regardless of everything the chai, lassi, mathura ke pedhe were so tastyy, the religious buildings both new and old (literally old) were so breathtaking like wow, I was impressed by all those paintings on walls, the achitecture, the sculptures of god looked so pretty, I saw sparrows after a long time (there are barely any left in delhi) and even tho people are kinda hot tempered or vulgar at times but damn I respect them for their love towards their religion. I'm not so dedicated towards religions and stuff but I do believe in god..and every temple that I went to, had some sort of calmness to it, specially prem mandir😩😩
All in all it was a great experience. I loved it <33

North India: Little sweet, little spicykiya tha
North India is defined as the land, which stretches to about 1.4 million km sq. starting from Jammu and Kashmir to Uttar Pradesh. Technically all these states will come under North Indian umbrella Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Although the major language in this region is Hindi, a slight change in dialect as per every region is clearly recognized. Kashmiri, Rajasthani, Haryanvi and Punjabi are some other major languages of North India.
Tumblr media
LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THE BEAUTIFUL STATES OF NORTH INDIA: ONE AT A TIME JAMMU AND KASHMIR The Jammu and Kashmir regions soothes your eyes with breathtaking scenic views of mountains, packed with snow, valleys full of flowers and garden full of apples and peaches. If you are in J&K, do not forget to taste the famous 'Noonchai'. You can also shop for Kesar, Walnut and Almonds which are cultivated in abundance here. The people here were the 'Feram' to protect themselves from cold.
Tumblr media
HIMACHAL PRADESH The state of Himachal Pradesh lies in the lap of Himalayas, just beneath J&K. The largest glacier in Asia, 'Shigri Glacier' is here. The Manali-Leh highway is the highest motor able road in India. The famous thukpa is a favorite delicacy here.
Tumblr media
PUNJAB Haven't tried the lasii in Punjab. What are you serious.? If you really wanna get the taste of North India, lassi in Punjab is a must. Sitting in a paddy field, eating makka chapattis with sarso saag gives the most patriotic feeling of the country. Sikhism is the major religion practiced here.
Tumblr media
UTTARAKHAND Uttarakhand is a major hub of adventure sports in India. The famous Chipko movement of India took place here only. Uttarakhand is famous for being the home to chaar dhaams- Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. It is also the site for Kumbh mela, which is organized in a gap of 12 years.
Tumblr media
HARYANA Almost all major multinational companies have their Indian headquarter in Gurugram, Haryana. Haryana also produces the most number of wrestlers in the country. Delhi the national capital lies in the northern region of India. Famous for great food and diverse culture, Delhi is home to many historical monuments. Also known as 'concrete jungle' ironically, Delhi is one of the greenest cities of the world.
Tumblr media
UTTAR PRADESH Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state of India. Famous for wheat cultivation, vibrant temples of Mathura and Vrindavan, and Kachori jalebi of Varanasi, this state is situated on the banks of the river Ganges
DELHI The capital of India, Delhi is a vibrant metropolis with a rich history and culture. It is home to a number of historical landmarks, government buildings, and cultural institutions.
Tumblr media
RAJASTHAN Lastly, Rajasthan, the state of golden dessert, is famous for its daal-baati-choorma. Desert safari are quite popular here. A very interesting fact about Rajasthan is that the cities here are color coded Jaipur pink city, Udaipur white city, Jodhpur blue city, Jaisalmer golden city. it Rajasthan is also home to many historical temples like Mehndipur Balaji Hanumaan mandir, Khatu Shyam mandir, Salasar Hanuman mandir and Rani sati dadi mandir in Jhunjhunu and Dargah of Ajmer Shariff. Mathura Set to Vote in 1st Phase Tomorrow, Echoes of More ‘Vikas’ than ‘Vishwas’ in Krishna ‘Janmabhoomi’
Thakur Sanjeev Krishna ji Maharaj, a member of Sant Samaj in Vrindavan, is thrilled that Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has spoken about a bhavya mandir in Mathura. He says it is the “good fortune” of this generation that it is seeing grand temples built rather than destroyed. “Bahut saari aashaein dharm jagat ke logon ki hain… unhe poori kaun karega? Aise logon se toh bilkul…

Movie Review: Ram Ke Naam
Ram ke Naam is a documentary film made by Anand Patwardhan on the issue of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, a issue, that has been dividing people on the name of religion since time immemorial.
Tumblr media
The film throws light on the historical happenings at Ramjanma Bhoomi in parallel with the Rath Yatra of BJP leader L.K.Advani from Somnath to Ayodhya. The film informs the people about how the dream of a priest led to the escalation of the problem and since then, violence has only aggravated.
The film-maker interviews several people ranging from priests to local people and tries to put forth each and every opinion on the topic. It is strange to see that many people who don’t even know the history of Lord Ram wanted to fight those who were against the formation of the temple. Also, how the issue helps BJP to increase its vote bank and strengthen its position in the national politics is quite impressive to see.
With slogans like “Mandir vahi bnaenge”, “Ayodhya to bs jhanki hai, Kashi Mathura baki hai” etc., the Vishwa Hindu Parishad could easily muster support from local people all over the country.
We see that where on one hand Advani is giving a speech, on the other hand the slum people are unaware of the issue and only speak of their problems in the interview, which they believe are never addressed by the government. With Mandal Commission getting approved and lower castes getting the right of reservation, many upper caste people left the Janta Dal Party to show their dis-interest in this decision and joined BJP to show their support for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Thus, BJP earned a lot through this political game of religion.
Overall, the documentary tries to shed some light on the seeds of communalism, politicization of religion and classism in the country through this issue of Babri Masjid.

Shankardas Kesarilal (30 August 1923 – 14 December 1966), popularly known by his pen name Shailendra, was a popular Indian Hindi lyricist. Noted for his association with the filmmaker Raj Kapoor and the composers Shankar-Jaikishan, he wrote lyrics for several successful Hindi film songs in the 1950s and the 1960s.Shailendra was born in Rawalpindi, and brought up in Mathura. The native place of his ancestors is located in the Akhtiyarpur, Ara district of Bihar.
He came in contact with Indra Bahadur Khare at the Kishori Raman School. Both started composing poems, sitting on the rock located on the bank of a pond in between railway 27 quarters and railway line near to Mathura station. Afterwards Shailendra moved to Bombay for films and Indra Bahadur Khare got fame in Raashtreey Kavita.
Shailendra started his career as an apprentice with Indian Railways in Matunga workshop, Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1947. He started writing poetry during these days.
The filmmaker Raj Kapoor noticed Shailendra, when the latter was reading out his poem Jalta hai Punjab at a mushaira (poetic symposium).[4] Kapoor offered to buy the poem Jalta Hai Punjab written by Shailendra and for his movie Aag (1948). Shailendra, a member of the left wing IPTA, was wary of mainstream Indian cinema and refused. However, after his wife became pregnant, Shailendra himself approached Raj Kapoor in need of money. At this time, Raj Kapoor was filming Barsaat (1949), and two of the film songs had not yet been written. For ₹ 500, Shailendra wrote these two songs: Patli kamar hai and Barsaat mein. The music for Barsaat was composed by Shankar-Jaikishan.
The team of Raj Kapoor, Shailendra and Shankar-Jaikishan went on to produce many other hit songs. The song "Awara Hoon" from the 1951 film Awaara, written by Shailendra, became the most appreciated Hindustani film song outside India at the time.
In the days when composers would recommend lyricists to producers, Shankar-Jaikishan once promised Shailendra that they would recommend him around, but didn't keep their promise. Shailendra sent them a note with the lines, Chhoti Si Yeh Duniya, Pehchaane Raaste Hain. Kahin To Miloge, toh Poochhenge Haal ("The world is small, the roads are known. We'll meet sometime, and ask 'How do you do?'"). Shankar-Jaikishan realised what the message meant and having said sorry, turned the lines into a popular song. The song was featured in the film Rangoli (1962), for which the producer Rajendra Singh Bedi wanted to sign up Majrooh Sultanpuri as the lyricist. However, Shankar-Jaikishen insisted on Shailendra and the producer had to oblige.
Apart from Shankar-Jaikishan, Shailendra also shared a rapport with composers such as Salil Chowdhary (Madhumati), Sachin Dev Burman (Guide, Bandini, Kala Bazar), and Ravi Shankar (Anuradha). Apart from Raj Kapoor, he shared a rapport with filmmakers such as Bimal Roy (Do Bigha Zameen, Madhumati, Bandini) and Dev Anand (Guide and Kala Bazar).
In 1961 Shailendra invested heavily in the production of the movie Teesri Kasam (1966), directed by Basu Bhattacharya and starring Raj Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. However, the film was a commercial failure. The falling health resulting from tensions associated with film production and anxiety due to financial loss, coupled with alcohol abuse, ultimately led to his death.
Shailendra's son Shaily Shailendra also became a lyricist. At the age of 17, Raj Kapoor asked him to complete his father's song Jeena yahan, marna yahan for the film Mera Naam Joker. Shaily Shailendra completed the "mukhra" of the song whereas Shailendra completed "antara" only before his demise. Lyricist, writer, and director Gulzar has stated on many occasions that Shailendra was the best lyricist produced by the Hindi film industry.
Shailendra won the Filmfare Best Lyricist Award three times.
1958: "Yeh Mera Deewanapan Hai" (Yahudi) 1959: "Sab Kuch Seekha Hamne" (Anari) 1968: "Main Gaoon Tum So Jao" (Brahmchari) Popular songs[edit] Some of the popular songs written by Shailendra include:
"Suhana Safar Aur Yeh" – "Madhumati" "Chalat Musafir Moh Liya Re" – "Teesri Kasam" "Yeh Mera Diwanapan Hai" – "Yahudi" "Dil Ka Haal Sune Dilwala" – "Shri 420" "Tu Pyar Ka Saagar Hai" – "Seema" "Yeh Raat Bhigi Bhigi" – "Chori Chori" "Paan Khaye Saiya Hamaro" – "Teesri Kasam" "O Sajana, Barkha Bahar Aai" – "Parakh (1960 film)" "Ruk Ja Raat, Thahar Ja Re Chanda" – "Dil Ek Mandir" "Yaad Na Jaye Bite Dino Ki" – "Dil Ek Mandir" "Chadh Gayo Paapi Bichhua" – "Madhumati" "Awara Hoon" – Awaara "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" – Shri 420 "Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh" – Shri 420 "Mera Joota Hai Japani" – Shri 420 "Aaj Phir Jeene Ki" – Guide "Gata Rahe Mera Dil" – Guide "Piya Tose Naina Laage Re" – Guide "Kya Se Kya Ho Gaya" – Guide "Din Dhal Jaaye Haye" - Guide "Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega" – Sangam "Dost Dost Na Raha" – Sangam "Sab Kuchh Seekha" – Anari "Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe" – Anari "Dil Ki Nazar Se" – Anari "Khoya Khoya Chand" – Kala Bazar "Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua" – Shri 420 "Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh" – Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayi "Jhoomti Chali Hawa" - Sangeet Samrat Tansen "Jeena yahan marna yahan" - Mera Naam Joker "Nache Man Mora Magan" – "Meri Surat Teri Ankhen" "Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo" – "Teesri Kasam" "Raat Ke Hamsafar, Thak Ke Ghar Ko Chale" – "An Evening in Paris"

Jagannath Ji ki rath har saal aasadh maas ke shukl paksh ke dusare din nikali jati hai. Is saal 25 June 2017, sunday ke din nikali jayegi. Rath yatra ka festival 10 din ka hota hai. Is doran Puri me lakho ki sankhya me log pahuchte hai or is festival ka hissa bante hai. Is din bhagwan Shree krishn, unke bhai Balram or bahan Subhadra ko ratho me baithakar Gundicha Mandir le jaya jata hai. Tino ratho ko bhavya rup se sajaya jata hai, jiski tayari mahino pahle se suru ho jati hai.
  Rath Yatra Ki Kahani..
Is rath yatra se judi bahut si kahani hai, jiske karan is festival ka aayojan hota hai. Kuch kahani me aapse share karna chahunga…
Kuch logo ka manana hai ki Krishn ki bahan Subhadra apne mayke aati hai or apne bhaieyo se nagar bhraman karne ki iccha vyakt karti hai, tab Krishna, Balram or Subhdra ke sath rath me sawar hokar nagar ghumane jate hai . Isi ke bad se rath yatra ka parv suru hua.
Iske alawa kahte hai, gundicha mandir me sthit devi , Krishna ki masi hai, jo tino ko apne ghar aane ka nimantran det hai. Shree Krishna , Balram , Subhadra ke sath apni masi ke ghar 10 din ke liye rahne jate hai.
Shree Krishn ke mama kansh unhe Mathura bulate hai, iske liye kansh Gokul me sarthi ke sath rath bhijwata hai. Krishn apne bhai bahan ke sath rath me sawar hokar Mathura jate hai. Jiske baad se rath yatra parv ki suruwat hui.
Kuch logo ka manana hai ki is din Shree Krishn KAnsh ka wadh karke Balram ke sath praja ko darshan dene ke liye BAlram ke sath Mathura me rath yatra karte hai.
Tabhi waha Narad ji prakat hote hai, tino ko ek sath dekh wo prashan ho jate hai or prathana karte hai ki in tino ke aise hi darshan har saal hote rahe. Unki ye prathna sun li jati hai or rath yatra ke dwara in tino ke darshan sabko hote rahte hai.
Jagannath Mandir Ki Kahani
Kahte hai, Shree Krishn ki mrityu ke bad jab unke shrir ko Dwarika laya jata hai, tab Balram apne bhai ki mrityu se bahut jyada dukhi hote hai. Krishn ke shrir ko lekar samudr me kud jate hai, unke piche-piche Shubhadra bhi kud jati hai. Isi samay Bharat ke purv (east) me sthit Puri ke raja Indradvimun ko sapne aata hai ki bhagwan ka shrir samudr me ter raha hai, isliye unhe yaha Krishn ki ek vishal pratima banwani chahiye or mandir ka nirman karwana chahiye. Unhe sapne me Devdoot bolte hai ki Krishn ke sath, Balram, Shubhadra ki lakadi ki pratima banai jaye or Shree Krishn ki asthiyo ko unki pratima ke piche ched karke rakha jaye.
Raaja ka sapna sach hua , unhe Krishn ki asthiya mil gai, lekin ab wo soch raha tha ki is pratima ka nirman kaun karega. Mana jata hai ki Shilpkar Bhagwan Vishwakarma ek badhai ke rup me prakat hote hai or murti ka kary shuru karte hai. Kary shuru karne se pahle wo sabhi se bolte hai ki unhe kaam karte samay pareshani nahi kiya jaye, nahi to wo bich me hi kaam chod kar chala jayega. Kuch mahine ho jane ke bad murti nahi ban pati hai, tab utavali ke chalte Indradvimun badhai ke kamre ke darwaja khol deta hai, aisa hote hi bhagwan Vishwakarma gayab ho jate hai. Murti us samay puri nahi ban pati hai, lekin raaja aise hi murti ko sthapit kar dete hai, wo sabse pahle murti ke piche bhagwan ki asthiya rakhte hai or fir mandir me virajman kar dete hai.
Har sal ek vishal raath me Bhagwan Shree Krishn, Balram Or subhadra rath yatra ke rup me junus nikala jata hai. Bhagwan Krishn, Balram or Shubhadra ki pratima 12 saal ke bad badali jati hai, jo nayi pratima rahti hai wo bhi puri bani hui nahi rahti. Jagannath puri ka ye mandir eklouta aisa mandir hai jaha 3 bhai bahan ki pratima ek sath or unki puja archana ki jati hai.
