Taylor’s post to the forums on CatholicMoms.com
I never thought this would happen to me, but I’ve decided to leave my husband of 14 years. We have five kids ranging from 3 to 13, with a sixth on the way. As you can imagine, this is devastating for all of us.
Please pray for our family!!! And if anyone has suggestions for particular prayers or saints to ask for intercession, I’d appreciate that very much. God bless!!!
@.matersanctissima: I don’t understand. What makes you think that you need to break the sacred bond that you share with your husband? I will pray that you recognize the error of your ways. @.bernadette.not.bernie: Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tua in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen! @.TLM.devotee: Here is what you need to do. Take a Green Scapular and place it under your husband’s pillow. Then you must pray for him for several nights—I recommend doing a full novena. I tried this with my husband and it truly helped him to work through the issues he was having!! Our marriage is now stronger than ever!!!

Taylor's post to the forums on CatholicMoms.com:
Hello! Our church has recently started using the Latin Mass, and I'm looking for some missals to help my kids follow along. A regular one will work for the three oldest, but I'm having trouble finding something geared towards younger kids. Any recommendations for missals with pictures and simpler language for my 2- and almost-6-year-olds? God bless!
@.matersanctissima: My little ones have never needed missals. They are perfectly content to sit still and take everything in—the chants, the incense, the bells! For keeping little ones' senses occupied, the Traditional Latin Mass is far superior to the watered-down Novus Ordo. @.catholicmomof9: Agreed! I take my children to daily Mass whenever possible, and they have quickly learned to behave. Even my 16 month old will say, "Mommy, we have to be quiet for Jesus in the tabernacle!" And why isn’t the five-year-old reading yet? Mine can read very well and would have no trouble with a standard missal.
Taylor: ...Have any of these people ever met an actual child?
