Masters in Fashion Design (MFD)
The objective of Masters in Fashion Design program at CFDM College of Mody University is to provide a holistic and inclusive approach of fashion designing so that the students break new grounds. The coursework takes into account the industry standards along with contemporary approaches. The students explore advanced technical, market, research and design knowledge. They hone drawing and research skills and also work on maintaining the quality of the product. They learn to competently decide upon the costing of the finished products as well.
Those who have completed a Bachelor’s degree program in Fashion Design from any of the Fashion Designing Institutes in India or equivalent degree course with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for this program.
They are trained to carry out all sorts of activities like creative process, vision, research, sketches, colours, textiles, cost evaluation, prototypes and collections in selected category.
