Being deep within the recesses of the Explodatorium gives one a new appreciation for a hot bath. An adventurer such as Shovel Knight tends to conveniently forget certain points of personal hygiene. Between all the biological and chemical hazards he's literally running across, he makes it a point to force himself to rent a room with a tub when this is over. No matter how expensive.

Thoroughly covered in mysterious green goo, the protagonist wanders his way into a portion of the keep that's utterly. No cacophonous commotion of potions combusting. Flask flinging fiends are nowhere to be found. For now. Plague Knight must be nearby. "Reveal yourself!" he shouts, ShovelBlade at the ready, as always.

"Plague Knight!" On instinct, Shield Knight shifts her weight to her back foot, and rolls her shoulder. There's no reason to suspect any battle's to come, but she's learned it's always better to be safe. Plus, that mask has always kinda creeped her out a little bit. "I didn't expect to see you here."
