The lyrics are written in Roman script on the Youtube page. I would expect them to be in Urdu, since the people who made the music video are in Pakistan. But Google Translate only worked for Hindi (closely related to Urdu, but written with different alphabet).

Masihi Geet

Masihi geet are basically Christian hymns sung by Christians during their worships and prayers in Pakistan and India. Masihi geet are usually in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu languages because these are the most spoken languages in Pakistani and Indian regions. In India these Jesus songs are sung in other regional languages like Bangoli, Tamil and Telgu but in Pakistan these worship songs are mostly in Urdu and Punjabi.

Types of masihi geet

Almost all kinds of poetry of Indian and Pakistani redions is sung in the form of masihi geet which includes geet, ghazal, qawali, kaafi, rubai, Punjabi boliyan, Punjabi bhangra songs and all other forms of poetry of these countries. All these forms have different singing style and from them geet and ghazal are most famous and favorite type of singing use to sing by most singers.

Masihi geet or  Christian songs are mostly sung in famous singing types geet and ghazal. These Christian songs are called masihi geet because masihi means a Christian and geet means a song and togather whole phrase means Christian song or songs.
