nct appreciates kun so much. they always say he is "the most important" (taeyong, welcome NCT 2018 vlive) member of nct and describe him as "the cherry on top" (ten, jingoos vlive with 96line). they always make sure he talks and try to give him as much spotlight as he can get (and feels comfortable with). they pay more attention to him and give him extra care. they probably know how hard it must be for him to be treated like shit by sm so they take/took (during nct 2018) extra care of him when appearing on vlives and broadcasts so he could at least get some kind of publicity. i know he's still somewhat awkward with members because of the lack of interaction they had the past two years because of 127 and dream promotions, and, yeah, he is a full-on weirdo sometimes and doesn't know what to say or turns shit awkward but he is so loveable too and i'm thankful to nct for trying to make us see that. he has such a complex personality. you can't just limit him to one thing, though, sm loves to do just that to their artists. they usually give them two character traits they have to keep with forever and thats it. and, yes, he is all the things everyone describes him as: cute, caring, kind, loving and a beautiful person overall but he is also cooky, greasy, weird, funny, loves compliments and attention and is most of all talented. he did so much during his pre-debut days which proves his passion towards music and performing. he did singing, composed his own songs, wrote lyrics, did choreographies for his own performances, was an mc and at that learned to play the guitar and piano. he is an all-around entertainer and i can't wait to see him do all the amazing things he’s been hiding from us be it with nct or not....and i really can’t wait for him to be more open to us. it's still that time where one is still awkward and unsure in front of cameras. it's noticeable in jungwoo and kun. and although we'll probably never know the way kun is behind the cameras. how fun and mischievous he is, like he mentioned himself many times. and we probably won't know why ten said he “fooled him/was fake” (fake isso) during his first impression, but even with all he is showing now: he is incredible. i appreciate it greatly that nct tries their best to show off kun's charms when sm doesn't. all the compliments they have showered him with so far. like calling his food delicious or pointing out his many musical talents or his not so dark past. pointing out his nice voice (this one goes out to you, taeyong) and mentioning how he always makes sure to help and care for them, be it with personal problems or singing issues. yes, guys, he helps members with their singing and practices with them. he even let’s other people win over him in arm wrestling to satisfy them. is a big fat sweetheart (and sexy asshole) and that’s why he is holding back so much during vlives because he doesn’t want to take away from the other members. he loves them so dearly. he even supported them before debuting (in my opinion coming back) with nct 2018. he always supported nct and endured the past 3 years of hardships even after many of friends, which he might have been closer with than with nct, couldn’t and left sm...and nct know that. they really don’t have much power over how sm treats him but if it’s in their power they make sure to let kun shine. and because nct loves him so much and he loves them just as much, i really hope he won’t be forced to the point where he thinks in order to achieve his dream, he has to leave. and god i’m rambling so much right now and could go on for longer but it’s 2 am already. and don’t get me wrong i am not trying to force anyone to stan him (he doesn’t need pity stans), all i’m trying to do is show how much nct loves kun and that maybe all of could do nct a favour and pay attention to kun more. it takes one second to notice how amazing, unique and hard to figure out he is.
