Chapter 14 eventually - I haven't given up on Heartbeat, my brain just has Demands and refuses to help otherwise

Mini update on Heartbeat Program (I was busy with the Yuuri event): Zarc is the most annoying character to write for, so next chapter probably isn't him (even though he's kind of needed for some AU details ;v;)

Thinking about Heartland and its design decisions (which immediately went into the headcanon zone)
If Heartland is/was designed to be a utopia for children to live in (for a card-game based world), then I wouldn't be surprised if Heartland scientists figured out revival, cloning, and mind and/or memory relocation entirely so some kids stuck in the hospital their whole life would get to live outside of it (even in a new body that doesn't have the problem they were permanently hospitalised for) if they wanted to.
And because this is Arc V, nothing's ever what you see directly on the surface, so I wouldn't be surprised if the unethical decision of keeping clones of kids, specifically with... weirdly high energy readings, in order to study what caused it even through their recklessness would still be possible. ... ok that might be too on the nose,

Yuuto. (and Ruri?) at the thought that their happiness/freedom rests on if some tech buried under a wasteland#will still work perfectly fine and isn't broken in some way after a three year war#Shun's already in a sad position. but being a ghost and knowing salvation is both in your home but may never come to fruition? #marwospeaking#My reasoning is entirely 'I didn't actually explore the side effects of that program's existence in Heartland'. because chapter 1 and 2 are#the same incident from two points of view (Yuuto and Reb)#I hope I don't have writer's block bad enough that I can't. but who knows#He's died once. came back pretty much the same. but the wrongness has to take time to show through basically. last post was a week ago. Marwo update: I am working (slowly) on Heartbeat (which doesn't like being written when its not a chapter rewritten from a different pov), and oc stuff in the background (I am still stuck on naming a single archetype - brain refuses to let me move on from the main group until that's done,,,)

For those wondering; Heartbeat is being written further as usual - I just got distracted
#marwospeaking#marwo heartbeat program#'by what?' one of my OCs is almost a cat girl. and seeing discourse on ita bags (never heard of before) made me draw her as soon as I could#additional context: she's a fashion girlie with a love of pearls and cute but understated stuff. Ita bags with cute pins fits her well#hers has about 17 Mulcharmy Nyalus pins (8 of which are the weird low poly Nyaluses in the background. they look like slime blobs)#Might post her later. Maybe when I've drawn her more (and maybe some of her monsters too. because they don't officially exist)
