i wanna tell you something. just a suggestion.

if you are writing a slightly kinky sex scene and the characters are checking with with each other regularly with shit like "is this good?" "yes its good" you do not need to have the anyone ask for a stop light color 45 seconds later! your characters have all already established they are having a good time!!!! if you write the sub as being insanely vocal about how great shit feels your dom does not in the middle of that need to ask for a color! the audience knows the color the color is oh baby fuck me harder yes like that. making the sub say green in the middle of that is just wrecking the flow.

the rules of fictional kink are already different than actual IRL kink-- we can see into people's heads. if you're writing from the sub POV we know the sub likes it!! if the sub is being loud about liking it we can assume the dom knows!

please trust the audience a little more and stop wrecking your own pacing!!!! also frankly you're undermining the entire premise of a lot of kink shit if the dom does not trust the sub to tap out if they need to. like... the trust is the point guys!
