LINK TO FULL LENGTH VID IN MY PROFILE: In 2009 @bobbersandsinkers started making asymmetrical surfboards inspired by his relationship with #CarlEkstrom and #RichardKenvin (@hydrodynamica). Come June of 2011, Burch made four asymmetricals for a July trip to Grajagan Bay. This was not only his first time at G-Land, it was also his first time feeling out the asym design in waves outside of California. I joined Burch on the trip and documented it for the forever-forthcoming #TemporalCollections. From that section of Temporal, I just cut a 9-minute prerelease short, "SELECT DATES AND SHAPES OF DREAMS COME TRUE." I'm really stoked that it's being presented by the @surfersjournal on their website. I hope you all enjoy this time capsule peek into a pivotal moment in Burch's surfing/shaping evolution, accompanied by the music of #MarkLightcap x @senonwill x @here_comes_the_warm_jets x #JasonYates. ✌️✌️

This month @lightintheatticrecords is releasing ACETONE 1992-2001, a double vinyl select anthology of SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SHIT YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO HEAR by the unfortunately disbanded trio of #MarkLightcap (g), #RichieLee (b), and #SteveHadley (d). • Steve (@here_comes_the_warm_jets) and I met back when we were first getting into riding Displacement Hulls and have grown tight ever since. I've been lucky to have his solo music grace the end credits of #PsychicMigrations, and throughout #OsmoThrombo and #TemporalCollections (unreleased). • If you haven't heard #ACETONE yet, this 92-01 anthology is the perfect way to take a first deep dip into their lush sound. If your are already a fan, then you'll be grateful to have this selection of tracks living in one place together. • Huge thanks to @stormymondaygoods for turning me on to Acetone long before Steve and I crossed paths with the only Hulls at a mediocre SoCal beach break. Many thanks to LITA for putting this out (and sending me a copy). And most of all, thank you to Steve, Mark, and Richie for the goosebumps.
