❤️ RED HEART — what are three of your oc’s positive traits?

marisa is incredibly flexible! she is a very accepting person, a good listener, very willing to let the other person set the pace. it's especially wonderful with marisa because she is also quite capable of confidence and playful assertiveness, and there are not a lot of people who can do both with aplomb. she takes the lead when she feels it's needed & steps back when she feels the other person has it handled. she understands what a situation needs.

marisa is an intrepid adventurer! she loves being on the road and taking lots of artsy photos for instagram. she is so floored by the bigness of the world and she wants to see all of it. (maybe with a certain someone by her side?)

marisa is that excellent blend of bitey-sarcastic/loving and compassionate that we as a society all so enjoy about jenny.

🤍 WHITE HEART — what are three of your oc’s neutral/questionable traits?

marisa has whatever the opposite of a sweet tooth is. too much sugar and she starts feeling a lil nauseous. she loves savory/spicy foods and she thinks cooking isn't fun unless you're tearing up a little as it's happening. (buffy is lowkey terrified of this.)

marisa has a motorcycle <3 this alone has made her bella's favorite relative.

marisa does not keep a tidy house. she is too busy running around the world outside to reliably remember to wash the dishes.

💔 BROKEN HEART — what are three of your oc’s negative traits?

marisa struggles to prioritize herself and her well-being over the people she loves, which makes it difficult for her to untangle herself from transparently shitty situationships. she's a little bit of a hopeless romantic, and she tends to give her partners a lot of grace when what they need is some tough love. she wants to be seen as the Casual Cool Girl & this can cause problems.

marisa struggles greatly with vulnerability! she doesn't like being correctly perceived. she'd much rather be a caretaker than taken care of.

marisa will avoid difficult emotional situations for pretty much as long as humanly possible. and she'll get damn creative about it, too.

she hasn't shown up in what you make yet, but marisa zima is jenny's first cousin once removed, though the age difference between them is such that she refers to jenny and nora as her "aunts." she reached out to jenny and nora when she was in college & investigating her family further, and she's a loose part of their family who comes for holidays and thanksgivings and stuff, specifically because she's not actually very close to the parts of the family that don't talk to nora & have tried to ignore jenny's existence for the last twenty-something years. she's playful, adventurous, good with the kiddos, and a little bit sarcastic in a fun-loving kinda way. she and jenny in particular are very tight, and she's looked up to jenny ever since they first met. she has a twin brother named florian and he is INSUFFERABLE and she spends a lot of time complaining about him.
