Marine Pollution Installation - By using found materials and disposable rubbish/waste given to me by my peers, I began to suspend these materials from several layers of blue string across my studio space to represent the amount of random rubbish that ends up in our oceans that get intertwined with our marine life.
The above images show projection of plastic onto the wall and into disposable/used paper cups, the beginning of the installation set up and viewing reflections through plastic tops.

Probably just getting back to the groove. But yeah the thing is that it is not about drawing or art here. It's more about oceans and the marine plastic Seahorses are intriguing little creatures. They bob and drift in the water, awkwardly swimming while constantly eating. They look sort of like horses, and really nothing at all like fish. However after seeing a particular post and reading few recent articles on sea horses and marine pollution I had come up with this. Plastic pollution does more than alter an animal’s natural environment. Entanglement in and ingestion of plastic are unfortunately increasing. 267 species have been documented interacting with marine pollution of all shapes and sizes, from miles-long ghost nets to plastic that can’t be seen with the naked eye. Sometimes animals use the garbage as a house or something to hide in, and that almost becomes endearing, but in reality this is a very bad situation. The more the animals interact with our waste, the more likely they are to ingest micro plastics, industrial chemicals, and waste. If you think about it, why would only the ‘clean’ trash drift around the ocean? Harmful pollution can do the same thing.” Seahorses can get extinct in 30 years, the water pollution is one of the main reasons why the seahorse habitat has continued to be in trouble.Approximately 50% of the population of seahorses in the world declined from 1990 to 1995. And probably according to many scientists by 2050 we'll find more plastic than fishes in these oceans. #kerbyrosanes #geometricbeasts #art #doodling #penart #seahorses #oceanlife #justinhoffman #saveoceans #stopplastic #marinepollution #marinepollutionawareness #savetheplanet #doyourpart #reusereducerecycle♻️ #fortheoceans #cleaneroceansforall https://www.instagram.com/p/ByxB7t4AjTl/?igshid=bu0f46hf5j5o
