I've finally been able to update this post with credit for the oldest / second oldest distinct Nonbinary flag designs thanks to @ryanyflags so please consider reblogging the version with attribution links !!

Nonbinary flags

These were made because I found out that the creator of the most commonly used Nonbinary flag had some frankly incorrect and hurtful (at least to myself as an Intersex non-"DFAB" who uses it the way I do) opinions on Genderqueer people and on the label Genderqueer itself. As well as things like this on nir blog (I hope I don't have to explain why it's uncomfortable, especially in the context of the other post). Later edit, this as well.

This is not me saying you have to use this flag or that I hate you if you use the most popular one or anything btw. I've simply just made my own NB flags to use in edits/icons etc. for my own comfort.

These are inspired by this Nonbinary flag:

which is the second design posted here and is the second oldest known and distinct Nonbinary flag design, along with it's sibling flags. There is an older flag here ( by the same creator, the only difference being a purple stripe ) that I also want to acknowledge as a retroactive inspiration.

I moved it around a bit and adjusted the colors, I made the green to be more grey to mimic the Agender flag. There's a five-stripe version just for those who'd like a yellow-orange in there.

so he’s the firstborn and it’s canon that he was born in the year 2000 simply because i am so bad with dates (plus that’s the year my sister was born so it’s easy for me to remember)

Like, one of the reasons the switch from “genderqueer” to “non-binary” in the early 2010s even happened in the first place is precisely because “genderqueer” had “neutral-monogender associations”.

I mean, of course there was more to it than that. There was nonsense about “‘genderqueer’ was coined by a TW so it belongs to TW so only TW can use it so if non-TW use it they’re transmisogynists”. Also nonsense about “‘genderqueer’ is only used by FAABs so you’re transmisogynistic if you use it”. Also nonsense about “‘genderqueer’ is primarily associated with white people so you're racist if you use it”. And of course the nonsense du jour: “‘queer’ is a slur”.

I’ve actually been lowkey trying to make some human designs for the freelance wives, specifically Maxine, so I have several ideas about her!

Some inspirations ive drawn from so far is Eartha Kitt and Marilyn Monroe, mainly both in fashion and hair, though it’s tough since I’d imagine her hair would have a similar silhouette to her rabbit design

But I can absolutely see her looking like Roxie!! Will have to look more into her when creating an official human Maxine design in the future

- i am so very very glad and honoured to have people enjoying my fic, though I'm not frequently updating nor posting. but i do try my best in my writing, trying to continue the story as such, considering I'm not that long lasting when i write my stories, such as only lasting from 1-3k words. i do everything in my will power to continue. plus! i have very very big plans for chapter 5-6. as for chapter 4. we'll keep it slowly for a moment. but me and chaz (co-writer). some people on here have been wondering bout some stuff (along with our other personal friends). here's your answers.

- moving on to y/n or who we'll be calling as daisy at the moment, daisy is morely based off of different women, some of their characters played in certain movies, me and chaz decided to mix the different characteristics of each women we have picked in making daisy, also being Daisy Buchanan (The Great Gatsby Movie 2013). some aspects of Daisy Buchanan is added to our daisy. Like such as the idea of Jay Gatsby to Daisy Buchanan. Daisy represents the paragon of perfection—she has the aura of charm, wealth, sophistication, grace, and aristocracy. but we only added the aura of charm, grace, and slight hint of sophistication. Our Daisy is a girl. raised humbly by Loralie.

- As for the Women we have decided to use the aspect for the characteristic of Daisy:

- At the time of writing all of the past characters, we both decided to have a mix-up with the women we chose for Daisy's Character. with the mixture of softness and slight mischievousness/cheeky-ness. Daisy has always been utterly humble with her life, considering she didn't live a rich life, being her only provider and partner (absolutely platonic) which is Loralie.

- Over the past days, we've also let some of our other friends evaluate the fanfic we made. And almost all of them have wondered what exactly is Loralie or who exactly is Loralie to Daisy. Loralie is not her mother, nor her siblings, she is a found family of Daisy. which overtime as friends, they both grew a bond with each other, which led to both of them together, living their life. supporting one another.

- As for the Voice claim. Yes, We could never go wrong with Daisy Buchanan as actually Y/n | Daisy's voiceclaim. (lol, we thought it would be cool if she had a voice so we did choose her)

"Saving All My Love for You" is a song made famous by American singer Whitney Houston, who recorded it for her debut album in 1985. It became her first single to hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and eventually went Platinum for sales of over 1 million copies. At the 28th Annual Grammy Awards, it won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

The song caused some controversy for Houston due to its theme of having an affair with a married man. Her mother, Cissy, did not like the scenario described in the lyrics, claiming that the song's message would reflect badly on her daughter. However, later Whitney herself confessed, “I was going through a terrible love affair at the time. He was married, and that will never work out for anybody. Never, no way.”

"Saving All My Love" was originally written by Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin during the 1970s and first recorded by Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis for their album but not released as a single. Years later, Masser saw Whitney for the first time in New York when she was singing one of his songs, "The Greatest Love of All". After her performance, Houston told Masser that the song was one of her favorites and later, Masser was chosen by Arista to produce some tracks for Houston's first album.  He offered up "Saving All My Love" and she said she "immediately responded to it, emotionally."

After the success of her previous single, "You Give Good Love", the executives at Arista Records didn't think "Saving All My Love for You" was a good follow up for next single. When Masser heard this, he made a friendly wager with Arista's president, Clive Davis, during one of Houston's performances at the Roxy Theatre in LA. Masser proposed that if all the women got on their feet when Houston started single "Saving All My Love", then Davis would agree that it should be the next single. They did and it was.
