summary:

Eclair had gone beyond living life on the edge. What she was doing now was more like... balancing life on the blade of a knife, sharp enough to slice everything she'd salvaged to ribbons. She'd gotten a job at her local liquor store to chase the owner's nephew, Marikin, who only knew she existed because she was always willing to cover his shifts. She lives paycheck to paycheck, barely making enough money for both rent and her drug habit. And Eclair can't get enough of it. But something needs to change. And on one of her routine trips to the pawn shop one morning, Eclair meets a girl. Human AU.
