11 and 16?

11. Gilmore or Pumat Sol?

Gotta go with Gilmore, I just feel like I have more of a grasp on him as a fleshed out characters. I want to know more about Pumat Sol, like his whole backstory of getting picked up and championed by a bunch of mages and what all went down with that, but though I love him, going to see him can often feel like the same gag of “Hey Pumat” “Hey other Pumat!” I love how important Gilmore was to VM in the longrun, how he got stationed in Whitestone and came with them on quests. And his flair is unparalleled.

16. Clarota or Lorenzo?

Oooh, that’s interesting. Honestly, I think Clarota? Lorenzo didn’t leave much of an impression on me as a character, whereas the entire Clarota situation was hilarious. The fact that they put so much trust in him over a champion of the Platinum Dragon, I just can’t. Also, Travis having a conniption showing off his weeks worth of notes of “I don’t trust Clarota!”

thank you!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the direction I’ve chosen. This is my first time really playing them properly and I was a little unsure at first about what to do with them. I’ve seen some interpretations of them where they’re unhappy and divided over John’s desire for more kids but I’ve always seen them as a very happy, normal (and drama free!) couple so it just made sense to me that they’d be very in love and supportive and they’d figure out a solution to the more kids issue. And since this ‘hood is all about twists I figured alien pregnancy was a perfect solution!

the aliens have taken a liking to our boy John haha...i’m pretty far ahead in gameplay so i can sprinkle in these moments of “foreshadowing” but yeah john definitely gets his wish of more kids!!

Yes! I wan’t planning on this happening because Weston is almost an adult now and Lauren is getting up there in age (I’m thinking mid 40′s with my age mod), but I’m pretty happy about it. Dean is too handsome to not have a baby :D Although if this had happened back when Kate and Siobhan were pregnant I might not have been so calm about it.

It really doesn’t have that much effect in the game. Probably because hardly any of my sims work yet. This is the first time the cramping has happened and it kind of makes sense with Lauren’s age. Inteen has been pretty quiet up until this round tbh, it also kicked in by getting Halle Anne pregnant the day before her birthday :|

may i just ask, what mod is this?? i've been dying to try it out in my game for ages but all my googling has been for nothing!

It’s one of the flavour packs for Inteen, so needs Inteen to work. You can download it here and here’s a read more about all the flavour packs too. Inteen can conflict with quite a lot of mods and it can’t just be taken out of the downloads folder (especially if any sims are pregnant). If you want to remove it at any point you need to go in game and there’s an option when you click on a sim to remove biological clocks which will clean up your hood ready to get rid of inteen. That aside, I have a list of all the hundreds of mods I use here and they all work fine with inteen so you can check that if you’re unsure. 

Inteen isn’t just for having your teens get pregnant (you can even turn that feature off), I got it because it allows young adults to get pregnant and get married. I also like the menopause and fertility treatment parts of it to add a bit of realism to my game and I also have the risky runaway and sneak out flavour packs, because what else are my teens up to when they sneak out with their boyfriends :P

Ha ha no need to be scared. I just didn’t want to give away that Lux was pregnant (even though I showed it in the next post) Technically Lux will be having her baby first even though Halle Anne popped first. I think they’re due 1 day apart :D

She certainly is adorable as a toddler. I especially love her mouth which she inherited from Callum, I’m pretty sure she’ll make a gorgeous adult :D

I think it’s 3t2, but it’s a really good quality mesh, really full looking, I can see why you’d think it was 4t2. It’s called Prada Mh01. I did a retexture of it a while back here and digitalangels was the one who converted it here

I do it all the time. I’m not too bothered about townies that are only ever seen in the background, but with townies that are best friends of my sims or ex partners or something I like to make sure they age up and sometimes that means they’re not going to get married into a playable family. Also it makes sense that some of them would eventually get married and have kids. I recently made an inn as a home business and the main purpose for it will be to move townies in temporarily. 

Also I found out something, I was controlling a townie with a control this sim mod and they accidentally got pregnant (acr not me!). I thought they’d lose their pregnancy when they became a townie again, but when I moved them into the inn they were still pregnant, just paused :D

Thank you! I figured it out now, and have recolored paintings from EP meshes and downloaded ones. Smart me actually just forgot to put the recolors in my downloads map, oopsie... But together with the second Tutorial it goes even easier now. :D

I’m glad you could figure it out! I remember, when I started making clothing meshes, I always forgot to put them in my donwloads folder, and I was wondering why they don't show up XD

Hey DeeDee! I really like the wedding pictures you make and then use in game. Inspired by that, I wanted to try that for myself. Two full days of google-ing, SimPE-ing and restarting The Sims 2 over and over, I still haven't figured out how to recolor a non-base game painting. Do you know of a good tutorial?

Also, there’s this one by Poppet, it’s not about a painting, but recoloring a painting is really similar (and I always check multiple tutorials if I don’t understand something) http://poppet-sims.tumblr.com/post/54039893647

Some tips: if you want to recolor a painting that came with an EP or SP, check if you enabled these in Preferences / File Table. They should appear then normally in the object workshop. And if you’d like to recolor a custom mesh, you just have to open the mesh (and not click to start in the object workshop)
