Ronja the Robber's Daughter Trailer
Ronja is a "spirited and rebellious girl born into a gang of robbers in medieval Scandinavia. As Ronja grows up, she discovers the magical, but dangerous forest with its strange and mysterious creatures." Here she also meets a new friend named Birk, who is, unfortunately, from a rival gang. Throw in a baliff trying to rid the forest of all robbers, and Ronja is in for a world of adventure. (Netflix)
Netflix's live-action adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's Ronja the Robber's Daughter will be released in two parts. The series stars Kerstin Linden (Ronja), Jack Bergenholtz-Henriksson (Kirk), Christopher Wagelin, Sverrir Gudnason, Pernilla August, Johan Ulveson, Krista Kosonen, Maria Nohra, and Vera Vitali. Lisa James Larsson directs from a screenplay by Hans Rosenfeldt.
Ronja the Robber's Daughter Part 1 (episodes 1-6) hits Netflix on March 28, 2024. Part 2 (episodes 7-12) will air later in 2024.
