Ok so not to hijack your post (but I’m about to hijack your post sorry) or anything but I have thoughts on this.

So for starters I head canon that Napoleon comes from a very rich family. I’m talking the American dynasties like my dude is a van der Bilt or a Carnegie Mellon kinda rich. His mum is a Kennedy and atm his dad is the grandson of JP Morgan (was originally the son but I realised that the dates don’t match up). His parents marriage was one of those status/money marriages rather than loving each other. His parents tolerate each other but don’t love each other. His mother is a pleasure seeker: she likes the boos, drugs and lots of extra marital affairs.

One of these affairs she has with a man from the British aristocracy - 1st in line to be the Duke of Northumberland (ie a family who is historically more powerful and richer than the Royal Family). As a result of this affair she gets pregnant. She’s never been interested in being a parent so washes her hands of the baby and Napoleons father is a bastard (a post for another day) so won’t take in the baby. So {insert first name here} Percey takes in the baby and his wife who has always wanted a daughter is ok with it.

Napoleon is at least 18 when this happens (how old he is depends on the plot bunny I’m working with). But for this case in this instance he’s already working for the CIA but he’s able to use time between missions to drop by and see is baby sister (Margret ‘Peggy’ Percey.

So when they join U.N.C.L.E which is HQ’d in London (like come on Waverley is British Intelligence so of course U.N.C.L.E HQ is going to be in London) he slips away to visit her which he can do more regularly because a) he’s in London and b) his leash isn’t a tight.

Illya and Gaby notice him slipping away and neither knows why. They decide to follow him one day expecting it to be a woman but instead they follow him to this expensive town house (like in Kensington or something) where a butler opens the door and this little 4/5 year old girls runs out hugging Napoleon. Naturally they come to the only logical conclusion that Napoleon has a secret child that he hasn’t mentioned. They decide not to bring it up until he’s ready and brings it up to them. They occasionally follow him as he takes Peggy to the park and museums and stuff because they find it so adorable.

Anyway the point is just Napoleon caring for and doting on his baby sister.

Between Enola Holmes 2 and The Witcher, I get the feeling that Henry Cavill finds himself reluctantly looking after a ward who is a strong independent young lady quite often. Maybe we should get Napoleon Solo one too. Like, one of the woman he'd slept with had a daughter and she's claiming Napoleon's the father, or something.

James Watt research

Dear - my relative - 13 December 1996 I have done some research on James Watt the famous Scottish inventor. I wanted to compare some of his relatives to a possible father of William Watt who was born in Scotland around 1791. We still haven’t found his father or even the name of William’s father. As of the present I have not been able to either prove or disprove our relations to James Watt. I must here give what we know and hope in the future we find out who William Watt’s father was. I can only give some possible ancestors through either James Watt himself or near him through his relatives. I had four basic resources in this outline. 1. James Watt by Andrew Carnegie 1905 2. Robert Watt Christened 15 February 1730 in Greenock,Scotland James Watt born 19 January 1736 Greenock,Scotland —The Famous Inventor he married a cousin Margaret Miller on 16 July 1764 Clasgow,Scotland they had four children. John Watt Christened 19 July 1765 Glasgow,Lanark,Scotland Margret Watt born 9 June 1767 Glasgow,Lanark,Scotland James Watt Jr. born 5 February 1769 Glasgow,Lanrk,Scotland Agnes Watt born 24 December 1770 Glasgow,Lanark,Scotland there may have been another child as Margaret Miller Watt died of “child bed in 1773. James left Scotland on 17 May 1774 for Birmingham,Warwichshire,Enland.There he met and married Ann McGregor and they had two children. Gregory Watt born 1778 died 1804 Jessy Watt born 1780 died young. James Watt’s younger brother was John Watt Christened 9 September 1739 in Greenock, Scotland. James Watt Jr. moved with his father,James the Inventor to Enland in 1774. I found a James Watt and Ann(e) as parents of Gregory Watt Christened 10 December 1777 at St. Martin,Birmingham,Warwick,England and Jane Watt Christened 9 June 1779 New Meeting House Moor,Street—Unitarian,Birmingham. James Watt Jr. took over his father’s share in Boulton & Watt Steam Engine Co. and stayed in Birmingham area until the 1840’s.The line to John Watt are pretty sure but the last(Gregory and Jane) are not.
