If you’ve ever wondered what it felt like to be that baby baked inside the king cake, here’s your chance. Its creator, designer Olga Tcherednikova, clearly eschews the notion that bedrooms need to be painted in soothing, neutral tones.

If you have insomnia, this certainly gives you plenty to look at during the night. That plush, purple alcove looks like the perfect reading nook. For your psychedelic poetry collection, perhaps.
