Was thinking abt marcia and silas just. Being idiots together. Silas is dyslexic and marcia needs glasses so neither of them can read but goddam if they're not going to both pretend they can

yeah I’m imagining them both pretending they can read in front of the other, like there’s some kind of spell they’re arguing over or whatever so they drag out the spell book to prove they’re right. Marcia is squinting because she doesn’t have her glasses and Silas is sweating, like please don’t make me read it aloud, and then Septimus walks in and he’s like,

hey so you know that book is upside down right
