Blazing Stars: What are you afraid of? Is there a reason why? 

fun answer is ghosts lol - like, i can watch really shitty horror movies about ghosts and think they’re scary, so naturally i love them. i think it’s because it’s hard to predict where they’ll be, what they’ll do, what they want, etc. the unpredictability gets my spooky senses going.

less fun answer is loneliness! for reasons like “how do i make friends as an adult” and “what if i’m annoying all the time” and “what if everyone else is annoying all the time” and “why is everyone getting married wtf” - although i am not lonely now, so i should probably give up on this fear until it’s relevant

Freesia: What are three good things that have happened in the past month?

:DD in no particular order: 

1) i submitted a paper proposal to an academic conference, which i have never done before! i don’t know if i’ll be accepted, but it was exciting to be able to tell people outside of my lab about real research i have done. 

2) my cat got really sick BUT lo, he is healed! cheers to my boy’s good health :D

3) I FINISHED WRITING/EDITING EGO SUM and have gotten to talk *coughcough* about it!!!!! ahhhhhhhh

Morning Glory: What was your bedroom like growing up? 

hmm i had a bunch of bedrooms growing up because i moved a lot. the 0th i have no idea because i was a baby. the first one (ages 1.5-9 years) had a whole wall of fish wallpaper and fish painted on the other walls and…i don’t remember what else, but i think it was nice. the second one (9-10) was reeeeal small and i put up these big pieces of blue fabric on the walls so i could pin drawings i made to them. third one (10-11) i didn’t bother decorating much, but it had two twin beds, which i thought was neat lol. forth one (11-12) was in the basement (i could have had an upstairs one but i was a cavedweller already by then) and i got this super shiny sparkly bedspread and a big stretchy pillow, which i thought were RAD. fifth (12) i don’t remember because i was mad all year and didn’t pay attention to anything because i didn’t think there was any point. sixth (13-14) was really funny…i found a giant cardboard perfume ad poster just like…on the street and decided that was the centerpiece for my decor, and i supplemented that with this massive, very mid-2000s pastel green chair my parents let my get for some reason…i also put up a bunch of pictures of bands i liked that year, i think. seventh (14-18) had real nice windows and real nice closet space, and i decorated it with all black everything and a rotating set of paintings i was almost done with, so i could keep tweaking them until i was satisfied.

ooo…unusual food/drink items tbh. those are safe 100% of the time because even if i hate how it tastes i will be really pumped about how much i don’t like it, so it’s win-win. slightly harder but very very exciting to me are small, probably useless, authentic/authentic-seeming objects related to my niche interests.

Favorite Male Character

No shock here. Sam as been my favourite from the pilot back in 2005 and I still love him now. He is one of my all time favourite character. He deserves so much.

Favorite Female Character

While the retconning in S15 where they couldn't even remember which brother actual killed her. Ruby is still one of my favourite side characters on the show and it was nice seeing her again.

Least Favorite Character

Again no surprise here if you follow me. Charlie-sue is a very close 2nd but sadly we have to deal with Asstiel so much more then her. He gets away with all the awful things he as done and keeps doing. He never learns from his mistakes, he never as to fix his mistakes. He is the worst *friend* ever but they want everyone to see him as a hero. It also doesn't help that Misha isn't even trying to act anymore and that he is aging like a fine bottle of milk. So he is just as hard on the eyes as his character is on the show.

Favorite Ship

WINcest. Again such a shock. The brothers and their bond and relationship is the show. No matter how much they wanna focus on everything else in the last season. Yes I ship them but I also enjoy having a show that focuses on two brothers and how they will do anything for each other.

Favorite Friendship

Sam and Sully. I just love Sully so much and he was there for little Sam and older Sam. A character that is just about Sam, that isn't evil or hurting him and who actual tells Sam how he saved the earth and called him a hero?!?!?

Favorite Quote

Wow there is so many so just going to pick one that's in my head now. Which will be when Sully called Sam a hero and told him he saved the world. Yes there are alot of great Sam ones and brother ones but come on I don't have all day lol.

Worst Character Death (if any)

If this said the saddest I would have picked Jo and Ellen's death in S5. Which is still hands down one of the saddest. But since it says worse I'm going to take it for which death pissed me off. XD

I'm actual going to pick 2 cause they both happen in the same season and both characters are killed by the same character.

First will be Magda in 12x04 and Mick in 12x17. Both are killed by Ketch who of course gets to come back from the dead and who starts to be pals with Dean because of course he fucking does. Magda deserved better and Sam never got to find out about her death. Mick who was WAY more interesting then Ketch and wasn't sleeping with Mary. (cause gross) would have made a good ally and his character was actual starting to grow but lol nope have to kill him.

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment

Again there is alot to pick from but going to go with when Sam was stuck with Lucifer again in 11x10.

Here is Sam trapped back with the monster that tortured him and he doesn't know if and when he will get out. But Sam tells Lucifer no right to his face. It's such a huge moment for Sam and a big fuck you to Lucifer. Win win.

Saddest Moment

Once there is alot to choose from but to be different for once I'm going to pick a scene from the awful S15. Cause even when the season sucks. I can always count on Jared to at least be stifling trying.

Going to go with the Impala scene in 15x04 where Sam and Dean have just killed the vampire boy. And Dean is trying to make Sam feel better. But Sam talks about how he doesn't feel free. We rarely get Sam's POV or how he is really feeling. So this scene is already great but Jared's acting. 👌

Favorite Location

The Impala.

The boys REAL home and the real 3rd lead of the show. Which as actual been there from S1. Sam and Dean just driving around on cases and who doesn't love the brothers heart to hearts in the Impala.

Punjabi singer Alfaaz hospitalized after "attack" in Mohali; "out of danger" now, says rapper Honey Singh

Oct 03, 2022 09:04 IST Mohali (Punjab) , October 3 (Always First): Punjabi singer Alfaaz aka Amanjot Singh Panwar, was rushed to a private hospital in Mohali with injuries after being allegedly rammed into by a vehicle at a local dhaba here on Saturday. Fellow Punjabi singer on Sunday night took to social media on Sunday night to update that Alfaaz was "out of danger". Reportedly, the 'Yaar Bathere' singer who was leaving the Pal Dhaba in the company of three of his friends was caught in an argument one Vicky, a former employee at the eatery was having with the owner. Reportedly, Vicky requested Alfaaz to mediate and get the dhaba owner to settle his dues. When the singer refused to intervene Vicky attempted to run away with the owner's tempo and hit the singer while reversing the vehicle. Reportedly the singer suffered several injuries on his head, arms and legs and was rushed to the hospital by his friends. Vicky, the suspect managed to escape from the location but was later arrested by the Mohali Police. Police later registered a case against the culprit at the Sohna Police station. Fellow Punjabi singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh took to his social media account and shared a picture of the 'Haye Mera Dil' singer from the hospital which he captioned, "My brother @itsaslialfaaz has been attacked last night, Whoever planned this Mo*********er I won't let u go !! Take my words !! Everyone pls pray for him." He later deleted his post from his account.

Does your character have any nicknames? Sof, Sofs, Sofie ( not as frequently used ), Sofa ( thanx 2 Charlotte ), Little Miss, Little Goose, probably a ton more because apparently she doesn’t have enough names as it is.

When and where were they born? Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital like 26 years ago.

What’s their occupation? Homie is a resident surgeon.

What gender do they identify themselves as? Female.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

What’s their eye color? Brown.

Do they wear glasses or contacts? NAY.

Hair color? Dark brown with light tones.

Have they ever dyed their hair or wanted to? She’s gotten highlights and ombre type things but there was a point in time where she wanted to dye it probably rainbow or something but she knows damn well that dying a full head of thick dark hair would not be a good time.

Her favorite is probably her smile because it’s really bright she probably get it from Arizona somehow and her least favorite is her height maybe?? Like Mark & Callie are pretty tall and she’s NOT she was disrespected by genetics THE NERVE.

What are their fears? Sofia’s fears are kind of the basic things like letting her parents and 254,459 siblings down because she has so many smol siblings and she worries that if she screws up they won’t look up to her or anything like that if that makes sense.

What is their soft spot? CLAIRE!!! HER SIBLINGS!!! And literally any other child like she loves everyone she probably babysat most of the kids when she was younger she lOBES THEM!!!! SHE PROTECTIVE AF AND SOMETIMES MOTHERLY BECAUSE SHE LOBE THEM LET HER LOBE THE SMOLS

List 3 pet-peeves they can’t stand? I don’t know Sofia’s really obnoxious so it’s hard to bother her but when she was younger she really hated when people made a fuss about her family like especially teachers.

How far did they went in school? Are they still studying? Homegirl hecking got her degree she rolled through med school and now she’s living her best life as a resident.

Do/Did they like school? Sofia really actually loved school because she was super smart and social and had a grand ass time.

What type of student are they? Type A for sure but she wasn’t super annoying she was just a teeeeeeeeny bit of a nerd. She did lots of clubs and stuff too she was super involved 10/10 good Sofia.

What is/was their favorite subject? She’s wanted to be a surgeon since she was a teeny so Sofia’s always loved science mostly because it made sense to her. AND SHE WAS A NERD.

Who are your character’s parents? WHO AREN’T SOFIA’S PARENTS!!!?!! She’s got Callie, Arizona, Mark, and Lexie.

How would your character describe them? DAMMIT THIS ABOUT TO BE AN ESSAY HERE I GO: okay so Callie is kind of ( I imagine ) the most authoritative parent and Sofia loves her to death but if she had to decide which parent scared her the most 10/10 would be Callie even though she knows Callie is a sweet kind woman she listens to Callie the best though she’s the one who the other parents would threaten to get if she was being bad as a smol and Sofia would BE GOOD. Arizona is goodcop 100% she’s Sofia’s homie I always imagine them having a really sweet relationship, Arizona’s the one Sofia goes to when she FUCKS UP!!!!! And she knows Arizona will make her feel better or tell her wtf to do. CHEATERS GOTTA STAY TOGETHER!!! MARK O MARK!!!! Sofia loves Mark so much mostly because she knows she’s a lot like him and she loves being around him because they have really complimentary personalities and their egos are HUGE AS HELL AND IT’S A FUN TIME. Lexie smol Lexie, Sofia used to call her ‘my Lexie’ when she was a teeny smol she loves Lexie so much she really really tries to be more like Lexie sometimes because Lexie’s so calm and chill and sweet most of the time and Sofia is typically LOUD AND NOT CHILL AND WILD. When she was little she also was convinced Lexie was a witch/superhero ( it alternated ) because of her photographic memory.

Sometimes they would break up for a week and she’d try to date someone to piss him off but it never worked because they always got back together.

She’s like slowly coming to the realization that she and Michael didn’t work out because they planned their lives when they were like 16 they didn’t account for the fact that they’d be busy as HECK when they started their internships. They also grew apart HELLA like they got together as teeny smols and now that they’re adults they’re completely different people who just aren’t compatible.

What do they look for in someone? Someone who’s witty and can handle teasing and can make jokes with her, and someone who’s sweet and caring and can put up with her dumbass.

Ah thanx Hon. I really appreciate the support. I can only imagine this is in reference to a rant that went on a couple of days ago. I wasn’t online for it. Other than a few minutes each morning to upload, I haven’t been on since...uh, whenever I last did asks. Beginning of this past week sometime. I can’t remember what day. But some of my FB pals told me it was going on. 

I’m so sorry you all have to deal with that negativity in your feed. I wish you didn’t but obviously no one can control what anyone else posts. Just know that I’m fine. I don’t let it get to me, and I’m not going anywhere. 

I do want to respond to two things you said though.

1) This is not in any way meant as a criticism of you, Nonny, but please understand it’s really not half of TD that’s spreading the negativity. I totally understand why it can feel that way when you see it in your feed. In fact, it’s probably fair to say that half of the big accounts that consistently post here on Tumblr have decided to hate me. That could be.

But also understand that TD is not just composed of Tumblr and it’s not even composed just of those of us who have TD accounts. TD includes all of our friends, acquaintances, followers, and even many who don’t interact even far enough to follow, but merely lurk and read. I think there could be a thousand or more people on TD, so a few bloggers--even if it’s a couple dozen of them--really are a small slice. 

It’s also important to realize that I only get this kind of hate--from other TDers--here on Tumblr. I have 4x the amount of followers on IG than I do on Tumblr, and the only hate I ever get there is from anti-TD-ers who hate us all. 

But like I said, I do sympathize. I understand why it feels that way. Just remember that people who spread hate and negativity about others tend to rail very loudly, probably because they know they’re in the minority and are just trying to get as many people as possible on their side. Unfortunately, they do succeed some of the time.

My account is not here specifically for the likes or interaction (though yes, I’m aware that the haters will scream the opposite at every possible opportunity). Any interaction I get is a happy bonus and I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. But think of it this way: have you ever tried to do or stay at a job you hated, simply because the paycheck was good? How long did you last? Probably not very long. If you don’t at least like what you’re doing, or if you’re doing it for the wrong reasons, you’re not going to be able to stick it out for very long. It’s a psychological thing. 

My point is that I’ve been dealing with this hate off and on for a year and a half now. (Yup, they’re still spewing the same tired, old arguments.) If I was here for the wrong reasons or had no passion or integrity in my work, I would have given up long ago. Something to consider.

2) I really loved what you said about how I know I’m a good person. Integrity is everything when someone is trying to bully you into submission. Please remember that in EVERY situation of your lives:

No one can make you feel bad, worthless, ugly, or anything else negative except YOU.

That’s why I don’t let the hate get to me. I refuse to internalize it. I’m too rebellious for that. The more they rail, the less I want to give in. I’m sure the hate will continue, and I’m sorry for that. I’m sorry that you all have to see it. But I’m not going anywhere either. I will continue to post my thoughts on my account, no matter who is or isn’t reading.

Car Crash and Insurance Please Help?

Hi, Yesterday I got in my first wreck I am 16 and the fault of the accident was put on me even though the woman in front of me slammed on her brakes so fast that I didn't have enough time to slow down. Anyway, the car I hit was a tank of a truck, I didn't put a scratch on it but her trailer hitch rammed into the front of my car, smashing the hood and other things. Ok, long story short. I live in Canada, Ontario, the worst ******* place in the world to be when it comes to car insurance. I am classified as a high risk driver because of some petty thing I did, (got caught driving with my G1 license alone, when you need a passenger with at least 4 years experience) I want to know what my insurance would be now on a 1991 bmw e30 318is. My mother and I have been looking at cars since I will be 16 in a year so we wanted to get a head start on what car we would try to get for me. I believe I found the perfect car for me. It fit all the qualifications my mom had set. The only problem that she has with it is that it's a coupe (although she didn't seem to have a problem with getting me a coupe a few months ago since she almost bought me on but I said no to it). She said the insurance would be a lot since it's a coupe but I figured as long as I handle my money the correct way, I could handle it. The car that I've fallen in love with is a Toyota Celica( 2001-04). The car for sale is slightly under 5k, gets 25mpg city and 32mpg highway, and it has less than 80,000 miles on it (not to mention, it has the sporty look to it that I can tune over the years). i was looking around for auto insurance to see if there was anything cheaper than what im paying now. im a 20 year old male with a 2005 scion tc. i have been driving for about 2 years and currently use state farm. when i first insured my car 2 years ago, i was paying $148/mo. due to a speeding ticket, it has risen to $194/mo. i also have comprehensive and collision with a $500 deductible. $100,000/$300,000 coverage with full glass also. not complaining, i think this is great   i looked at nationwide, allstate, geico, and progressive. these companies are supposed to be so great, but progressive quoted me at $485/mo for the same coverage! the other companies where all in that general area. progressives state minimum coverage plan for me was almost $300/mo.    why do these other companies cost so much more? im not complaining about mine"",I would recommend you to try this web page where you  can get rates from the best companies:""
