#Repost @manhattanbeachpolice (@get_repost) ・・・ The Manhattan Beach Police Department is mourning the loss of Rachael Parker, Police Records Technician, who was tragically killed in the Las Vegas shooting Sunday night. Rachael, 33 years old, was known for her cheerful and compassionate demeanor. She served the Police Department and the Manhattan Beach community for nearly 10 years, working at the Front Desk of the Police Station. In June 2016, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University, and was in the process of applying to graduate school. Rachael had a passion for working with older adults, and she completed her undergraduate practicum with Manhattan Beach’s Older Adults Program. Rachael had a love for dogs – especially her two adopted dogs, Maddie and Izzy. She enjoyed baking, country music, and LA Kings Hockey. Rachael’s smile could light up a room, even on the most difficult of days. Rachael, we love you and we miss you. Our hearts are breaking. Please keep Rachael’s family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time. Our hearts also go out to all those affected by the tragic Las Vegas shooting.
