However, i have been busy with school work and a personal writing project. I have also been thinking about rewriting the first chapters to establish better world building with a proper political system bc the Rigor Mortis universe is LACKING one lmao. Once I am certain I’ll definitely make an announcement post :)

But oh, wow. A revelation! Turns out Daeron Targaryen is already dead. That would explain why Aegon took her there, no one would think to look there. The plot thickens!! It seems the more MC spends time with them, the more mysteries unfold. Can’t wait to read more!

The next few chapters the plot is finally going to pick up more pace now that I have set up most plot points! Tbh, I had a hard time debating if Daeron should be alive or death, but I eventually settled for dead lmao. But dw, Daeron's plot is very lore-filled and I can't wait to write it 😩🙏

Hi bby! Sorry it took me a few before I could read it. Hope you're doing okay!

Okay, first of all, so many questions! I too am itching for answers. When Aegon mentioned a “wench” it got me thinking the castle might be haunted. Also, the way Aemond spoke sounded as if the murders are some sort of sacrifice. As if a beast or whatever otherworldly creature is on the prowl and people who go out during that time are considered fair game.

Second, I can’t help but be annoyed at Aemond lol, he is very much a one word answer. I’m looking forward to seeing him tell our MC more about his family.

Lastly, ohh Aegon found her. I hope he does nothing bad. I do think he means to help her though I can’t be sure until I read the next chapter. Lol

All in all, this was brilliant and it got me on the edge of my seat while reading!

As for Aemond’s personality, I feel like he would definitely need some time to warm up to people. All of Viserys’ kids are spoiled AF, usually by Alicent ofc. I feel like Aemond would out of obligations easier than his siblings bc he’s a momma’s boy and is most likely Alicent’s favourite💀💀

Like he used to get away with EVERYTHINGGG and now Alicent’s making him marry some random woman, from the North of all places. I can imagine him being a a little pissed for sure lmao.

Honestly I just want it to be a bit of a slow burn bc i feel like it would just take a while for Aemond to warm up to people, let alone TRUST them.
