As you can see my hair dried very quickly, frizzed up instantly & there's no definition or barely even a curl. Just fluff...frizzy fluff. Ughh.... Bottom pics: 2 hours after coming out of the pool. I applied @soapboxsoaps Argan oil conditioner immediately after coming out of the pool, while still soaking wet. As you can see two hours later I have shiny, defined, soft curls that have not even dried yet. So I'm telling you that this really works. If you want to preserve your curls this summer follow these simple steps: 1. Before entering pool, soak hair in fresh water. Then apply conditioner and seal with oil. This blocks the chlorine from penetrating your hair and damaging it. 2. Immediately after exiting the pool, apply more conditioner. Do this every time you come in and out of the pool. 3. When your pool day is finished, thoroughly rinse your hair with fresh water. 4. Apply a @swimspray that removes chlorine thoroughly. Also, I've recently read that African Black Soap is clarifying enough to remove chlorine as well. I used @elainehairbody Low Porosity Shampoo. (I will do a comparison post on these soon) 5. Rinse and condition. 6. For added healing use a deep conditioner for replenishing any moisture that was lost. Leave in for at least 20-30 minutes. 7. Rinse and style.
