Fe3h au : Hidden manakete - Little helps
- Annette often asks Ashe to carry her as he flying around when there's a cleaning task ( so that's Annette could reach the higher places or to the roof to see the scenary).
- Caspar training so hard to transform ( without using dragon stone cause he doesn't know how to use it yet ) but only Claws , Teeth or Tails are visible, he can't exactly transform into fully form yet. And Linhardt always cheer him up ( so he could study him and also he doesn't like to see Caspar feeling down )
- Ignatz often see Marianne talks to animal and Dorte and since he could understand and talk to the animal. Sometime Ignatz said those animals enjoy her conversation ( which both surprised and impressed Marianne)
- Even Constance doesn't ask, Balthus likes to spread his wing to give her a shelter so that she wouldn't suffer her low-self esteem ego. ( if he see that it pain her or she is in danger ) Also Let her ride his back in his dragon form ( but if Balthus is too hungry he won't able to stay in his dragon from for too long and reverted back, nearly making her falling down with him able to catching her before she clashed the ground)
#fe3h au#fire emblem three houses au#balthus von albrecht#caspar von bergliez#ashe ubert#ignatz victor#fire emblem manakete au#hidden manakete au#yes He would tell Marianne in like B support#but taking A level support with Others except Byleth and Raphael since they already known#poor Caspar#he can't transform correctly just because he doesn't know what is the dragonstone#until his mother gave him in after the war start saying that he might need it#Annette really enjoyed being Carried around to clean the higher place with Ashe#those two are too adorable together#Annette said she wants wings too and said Ashe is so lucky to have them#Ashe said he was born with it but doesn't exactly said he was a manakete#but later he tells Annette about his origin and ask her to keep it secret#Annette promised but can't control her eager to see Ashe's dragon from#balthus and constance is cute too#constance always self-proclaim that she is the only one who could speak to the abyss guardain when she is with strangers#but yeah balthus can't stay in his dragon form for too long due to lack of controling his dragon power in his pre-timeskip#so contance always help him train to use it ( just like she trains him to use magic)

FE Awakening AU; Verdant Pegasi House
I finished these like 2 weeks ago but I've just been procrastinating lmao Last house‼️ Last three houses can be found here, here and here To the west lies the continent of Valm, home to the ancient gods Mila and Duma. Long ago, King Albein Alm Rudolph II and Queen Anthiese von Lima united the kingdoms to form Valentia. Union wouldn't last after their reign and as such, the continent was divided once again. Small countries throughout the land popped up, each with their unique cultures. 15 years ago, King Walhart Alm Rudolph I sought out to reunite the continent of Valm under one empire, thus crowning him Emperor. Though Valm pledged allegiance to no Gods, Tiki became a symbol of divinity and was embraced. As such, she allowed them one house in her Academy. The Verdant Pegasi gain their names from their vast and beautiful green plains and the abundance of wild Pegasi in many of their regions. They value honor, hardship, determination and kindness. Walhart II: Eldest son of the Emperor, he's determined to continue his father's rule over the continent and keep the empire afloat. Stern and headstrong, he's not afraid of a challenge. He enrolled in the Academy to strengthen his skills and hopefully make new allies. Yuu'ya: Only son of Say'ri, he embodies the image of a warrior of Chon'sin. Opposed to the united Valm, he's secretly amassing a rebel army to go against the foreign occupation of his land. Usually quiet and reserved, he rarely lets his presence be known. Kazu'sa: Oldest son of Yen'fay, he openly rejects his father's submission to Valm. He's growing to detest his father and his actions and strives to free his country. Despite having the same goals as his cousin, he's the polar opposite. Loud, brash and vulgar; he doesn't care for tradition and prefers to express himself freely. Nah: Nowi and Donnel's youngest daughter, she's pretty composed and reserved for her age. Growing up amongst so many other manaketes in the Church has allowed her to understand her culture and come to terms with her human half. Naga's descendants never usually take up any last names, but Nah insisted in taking her father's as a way to combine her two backgrounds. Aurelia: General Pheros's only daughter, she's hopes to become a Knight of Naga after graduation. She dedicates her life to her faith and holds Tiki in extremely high esteem. While she should usually inherit her house, she has stepped away from her noble lineage to pursue her dreams. Benedict: Youngest son of The Great Ignatius of Valm, his father's war prowess inspired him to follow in his footsteps. With great honor, he's taught himself all ways of magic to assist Walhart II in his future endeavors. Rumor has it, though, that he's terrified of boats. Hildegard: Daughter of Commander Farber, she's delicate as a flower. Shy, reserved and unassuming; she enrolled in the Academy to become a great healer to save lives. She fully expects to be married off for political gain, since she's a noble; but her only hope is to help those in need. Gerome: Heir to the Head of House Rosanne, Gerome focuses on his strength above all else. His father surrendering his homeland so easily to Valm has left him estranged from him over the years. He enrolled in the Academy for 2 reasons; to learn from his Mother, who's an instructor and to reunite with Lucina and the others in hopes of gaining their strength to drive back Valm. Crest of Duma: May half damage of an attack. Crest of Mila: Heals 20% of HP at the start of every turn. Crest of Chon'sin: Increases Crit chance by 20% Crest of Naga: Allows wielder to transform into a Manakete. Crest of Rosanne: May nullify effective damage

idk. budget manakete robin au. do u see my vision
Top left: Prologue/most of arc 1. Assumed to be a manakete. (Actually more similar to an early pre-dragon stage of dragon evolution than a bonafide manakete, due to his family line selectively breeding themselves to be more draconic + pursuing shapeshifting, to be more like Grima.) Dragonstones make him viscerally uneasy so he stays away from them.
Top right: Post-timeskip, pre-Grima-reveal? They found out about the sewn-shut eyes and decided to heal them properly. Also stopped filing down the horns and they grew out. May or may not have used a dragonstone at this point. Increasingly concerned about what these features really mean. (fun shit happens when they figure out who they're a reincarnation of but it's a secret >:])
Bottom two: Grima. >:] He purposely shapeshifts his mouth to be fucked up for the intimidation factor. It might return to normal if he ever decides to be sincere for a second (highly unlikely, he's allergic to sincerity).
The form that comes naturally/is most comfortable to them if/when they use a dragonstone. Some kind of bug with pterosaur arms and a beak?
Purposely a lot smaller and slightly less grotesque than Giant City-Sized Grima, due to this being an alive reincarnation of Grima, and not a zombified corpse packed full of souls and modified into a death blimp.
Validar also has draconic horns in this AU, but his point upwards, like the points on his headpiece in canon. I haven't decided if he has cheek eyes or not but if he does he doesn't have all six of them.
#my art#fe awakening#robin#grima#i'm not really doing anything with this au (yet?) i just gotta get this shit out my brain#don't hold your breath for more drawings though. i have personal reasons for not posting much art here </2

Kellam x Robin Commission (An AU where Robin has some dragon-like features, that sets her apart and makes her a little more self-conscious when she gets pregnant,,,!!!!)
It was apparent upon first joining the Shepherds that you were more than just a stranger; you might as well have been a different species. You weren’t like Nowi, whose Manakete form was separate from her human body; the only giveaway was her youthful appearance and her long, pricked ears.
No, your condition was a little different. You looked the age you felt, and your ears were smaller, but still had their pricked tips. On top of that, you had patches of scales scattered across your body.
And there was no ignoring your claws and sharper canines you. It was like you were stuck between being a human and a dragon. It was unnerving to realize how strange you were compared to others. But what made you feel welcome was Kellam.
The quiet knight was such a gentle and compassionate soul. His heart was pure and sweet, and it was very clear that he was the one you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. He just didn’t know it yet…at least, not for the first few months. But sure enough you grew closer and closer, and by the end of the Plegian War, you were wed.
Kellam was never bothered by your appearance, and reminded you how much he loved you with each passing moment.
If he caught you staring at the scales on your neck, he would wrap his arms around you and kiss each one. If you were fiddling with your hands beneath the council table, he would thread his fingers with yours and give it a soft squeeze. They were the perfect size to hold, after all!
And your teeth? He thought they were adorable; and found it amazing how you could break through a whole coconut in a single chomp.
He was enamored with you, and you adored him. Not just because he accepted you for who you were…he was so tender and had so much depth, getting to know him and growing a relationship with him felt like a privilege.
You cherished Kellam and every moment you shared, your unique relationship between the half-dragon and the invisible knight was a love for the history books.
At least, for Kellam, it was. In spite of all his efforts to assure you that he loved you more than anyone in the entire world, you still had your doubts. You weren’t going to be the only other person in your lives. There was another member of the family that would be joining in, at least seven months from now.
Nowi had sniffed it out first, and Panne had confirmed it for you; there was a baby growing inside you.
Kellam’s baby.
You could hardly believe your ears when they told you, but it made sense. You’d been feeling a bit off in the last few weeks, constantly restless and tired, more so than usual.
Kellam had been noting your shift in behavior, worried you might be getting sick. But after your visit with the two women who could literally smell a baby in the womb…well, you weren’t concerned about that.
But more so, you were worried about what Kellam would think. Was he ready to be a father? Did he even want to be one? What was he going to think about you being pregnant in the middle of war with Valm?
What would he think of his baby being half…whatever you were?
The nerves would continue to eat away at you, even though you were able to put up a brave front. And it would not take long for your other half to realize you were stewing on something important.
“Robin? You feeling okay?” His question was soft, contrsated with the strong arms that wrapped around you, drawing your back to his broad chest. “You’ve been quiet, lately.”
“Oh, have I? Sorry.” You said dismissively, pretending to review the document you’d been failing to read for the last ten minutes.
“Is it something I can help with?”
“Well…” You trailed off, slowly turning around in his arms so that you could look at him, finding that patient, soft smile that you very rarely felt you deserved.
“What’s on your mind?” He prodded, leaning in just a little closer.
You rested your hands on his chest, your expression difficult to read. “Kellam, what would you think about having a baby?”
He blinked, the question seeming to not quite register in his brain. “What?”
“Do you think having a baby with me is a good idea?”
“I…erm, well…I wouldn’t, uh…” He trailed off, a blush slowly creeping up his cheeks. He looked away for a second, trying to consider his response. “I married you because I wanted you to be part of my family, Robin. I knew that having a family of our own would be on the table at some point, you know?”
“I guess so, yes.”
“I wouldn’t mind having a baby with you. Did…did you want to have one?”
He wtched as your mouth drew into a thin line, then curved into a deep frown. His hands tightened around your waist.
“I don’t know.” You finally answered, your eyes focusing on your fingers. “I…never thought about having a family. I just thought it would always be us. But then, the children are coming from the future, and…I thought, what if one comes from the future and they’re ours? And…and what if we have that child now? Would the child even look like us? I mean, I’m not fully human- what if our baby isn’t even a little bit human?”
“Well, I don’t think you’ll lay an egg, if that’s what you’re thinking.” He replied lightly, though you weren’t changed by his mirth.
“I think that having a baby with you would be….a miracle. I think that if I told you I was pregnant, and you were happy…that would mean the world to me. Because that would be real proof that you really…..that we can really be….”
“I do. And we are.” He finished your thoughts, those which you were too nervous to utter out loud for fear of upsetting him.
He shook his head, touching his forehead to yours.
“Robin, I love you. If we have a baby, I don’t think I could ever express the joy I’d feel!”
“What if they look like me? What if they have sharp teeth, and claws, or…or what if they look even more like a dragon? Would you really be able to look at a child like that?”
“Robin,” He cupped your face, “Listen to me, my love. Our baby will be beautiful. They’ll be the culmination of our love for one another. How could they be anything but beautiful?”
“Oh…” You felt the knot in your chest, sending the lump into your throat. He was beaming at you, wiping away the tears that had gathered without even realizing. “Um, well…then…”
“I think we’ll be all right if we have one in the near future. Once everything is calm, and we have some time to prepare, I think it’d be wonderful to start our own family.”
“I’m so happy to hear you say that.” You whispered, finally meeting his gaze fully. You drew yourself up on your toes, giving him a searing kiss that he more than deserved.
Kellam fell into you that night, the two of you lavishing one another in the warmth and unconditional love that you could hardly fathom he had for you.
Everything was going to be okay. Of course it was.
-------------------------
Nothing was okay. Everything was awful.
The Shepherds had received a distress call, and were flung into a rescue mission for a young man who was fighting Risen alone in a nearby cavern.
It was a beautiful, myseterious place, corrupted by Risen monsters who were trying to go after the young man. A boy who, upon successfully being rescued, was quick to throw himself at Kellam, flinging his arms around your husband with a happy laugh.
“Father!! Thank goodness you saved me! I would’ve been done for, otherwise! And, wow, you look so much younger-- did you find a hot spring or something nearby? Why, it looks like you’re nearly 20 years younger-”
Kellam was already overwhelmed by having a stranger call him “Father”, but now he was full of questions…as were you. Despite the shock of the sudden shift in circumstance, you noticed that Kellam was happy. Stunned, but happy.
He did have a child in the future, just like the other Shepherds.
You were on the verge of panic. You were staring at a brown-haired, brown-eyed boy who wore Kellam’s armor and had the same sweet smile. But nowhere did he have fangs, nor scales, nor claws…he looked fully human.
The boy claimed Kellam was his father, recognizing him straight away. But you couldn’t bear the idea. The thought that he was…how could he be?
“Morgan,” He introduced himself cheerfully, “My name is Morgan! And if you’re my father’s wife, then you must be my mother, right?”
“You…you don’t know me?” The words were thick in your throat, impossible to choke out. You were reeling from the bombshell he’d just dropped on you both.
“Well, my memory’s a little hazy. I remember Father hurrying me to a portal, and…and I remember waking up here, but…gosh, anything before or after that is really hard to think of. Urgh, my head hurts just trying to.”
“Don’t push yourself, Morgan.” Chrom stepped in, Lucina at his side. “Let’s focus on returning to camp and getting your wounds treated. Then we can look at next steps.”
“Yes, of course.” Morgan chirped, his cheery disposition returning without skipping a beat.
“Robin…we have a son!” He whispered joyously, grasping your hand, “Isn’t this wonderful? We have so much to talk about!”
You had yet to piece together the reality. You weren’t sure that you could stomach it. Silently, you followed behind your husband and his son, letting them carry on the entire trek back to the camp.
A conscious hand brushed your stomach, the fear thundering in your chest.
Was this truly your child…?
-------------------------
When Kellam returned to your tent that night, he was breathless with joy. You were curled up on the bedroll, unlike your usual routine of working until the candlelight went out.
You weren’t asleep, but you didn’t acknowledge him when he came in. You were consumed by your fears.
“Robin, are you still awake?” He asked, your back turned to him. “I’m surprised you’re still here and not spending time with Morgan!”
“I…I’m not feeling well.” You replied, turning over so that you could look up at him. His joy diminished some, kneeling down beside you on the bedding and touching a hand to your forehead.
“You don’t seem to be feverish…are you feeling ill? Is there something I can do for you?”
“I…I don’t think so.” You trailed off, your lips pursed. “I don’t know, Kellam. I’m just stressed. It was a long day, today, and I’m still reeling from the fact that there’s a boy who claims that I’m his mother.”
“It really is a whirlwind. The others didn’t tell me what to expect with finding our child. He’s so amazing, Robin!”
A strong arm came around your waist, drawing your back to his chest. He pressed his nose to the back of your neck.
“I can hardly believe it. To think we were talking about starting our family just days ago, and now…and now we know what happens! We have a son…we’re going to have a son!”
‘You are going to have a son, at least.’ The thought crossed your mind bitterly, and you pulled back from Kellam, sitting up from the blankets.
“It is a surprise,” You managed to eke out, but it didn’t get any further than that. “I’m sorry, Kellam. Can I have some time alone?”
“Oh,” He pulled back some, “Of course you can, are you- are you okay? Is it something you want to talk about, first?”
“N-no. Not yet.” You shook your head, “I’m sorry, it’s just…it’s a lot to process. I’m not sure what to think of this all, yet.”
You hesitated for a moment, looking back to your husband with a soft smile. You brushed the hair from his forehead, and left a gentle kiss.
“I will be back soon. I just need a little time.”
This seemed to assuage his concerns, and he nodded, giving your arm a soft squeeze. “Hurry back. I’ll be here waiting for you.”
He watched as you left the tent, the worry still lingering in the back of his mind. It wasn’t unlike you to need some time to yourself, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t still concerned, regardless.
But he would trust you first, and settled back into bed. He was sure he’d wake up with you beside him, like he always did.
-------------------------
When the sun rose over the hills, and the camp started waking back up. But Kellam was surprised to find that he was waking up alone, that morning. You had not made it back. Or, perhaps you had retand just woke up before he did. He proceeded with getting dressed for the day, worried about how your spot on the bedding was cold.
He didn’t make it far from the tent before Morgan appeared, smiling brightly and holding two training swords.
“Father, good morning!” He greeted Kellam happily, “I hope you slept well. Have you seen Mother around? I wanted to spend some time with her today, maybe get some sparring in before breakfast.”
“Ah, well…” Kellam trailed off, looking back to his tent. “She went on a walk last night, and I haven’t seen her yet this morning. You haven’t seen her around camp?”
“Hmm, now that I think about it, I don’t think I have. We should ask the others!” He decided, and the pair set off to try and locate the half-dragon woman they were seeking.
Unfortunately, nobody they asked had seen you; and worse yet, when he came to Panne and Nowi, he received a pair of very worried looks.
“You lost Robin?” Panne asked with a low voice, looking deadly serious. He didn’t like the shiver that rolled down his spine, but he didn’t fight it.
“I…I suppose I did. I guess it wasn’t a concern, since we’re in a safe territory and we’re not around any immediate danger. I didn’t think letting her walk alone would be a problem.”
“It’s not her that I’m worried about-” Panne hissed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “How could you let her wander off on her own, especially in her condition? What were you thinking, fool?”
“Her condition?” Kellam echoed, confusion clear in his voice. “What are you talking about?”
“She didn’t tell you?” Nowi piped up, and the two women exchanged a concerned look. Now Kellam was really starting to worry.
“No, she didnt say anything, she…she just said she needed some time alone!” He insisted, “Can you help me find her? Panne, you can hunt her down, can’t you?”
“Yes, I can. Give me something of hers, quickly.” She strode past him, heading for their tent. Kellam and Nowi weren’t far behind.
“I’ll transform so that we can fly overhead and look for her!”
“Nowi, what’s going on? Is Robin sick??” Kellam pressed, but the dragon did not reply. She only followed silently.
“I think…she’s going to need to tell you.” Nowi’s cryptic reply was nothing but agitating. However they didn’t have time to think on it. Panne went into the tent, but a giant rabbit burst out of it, sprinting past the pair.
“She’s this way! Hurry!!” Panne shouted back at them, frightening all the men and women she leapt by. Nowi quickly transformed and the trio was rushing after you.
It wasn’t a long trek, mercifully. Within half an hour, Panne had your location locked down and she was there.
They flew past the camp and across the forest, finding a valley at the edge of it. Panne stopped her rush, signaling to Nowi to fly down. The manakete descended, shrinking down as Kellam dismounted.
“She’s over there, by the pond.” She told them, “But you should go alone, man-spawn. Nowi and I are not needed from this point.”
“Oh…okay. Thank you, for helping me find her. Truly.” He bowed his head to both of them, before running to you. Within a few moments, the trees cleared, and he found his wife sitting at the edge of the water, your back to him.
“Robin!!” He called out, closing the distance and coming to you quickly. You rose to your feet, taking a few steps back. It prompted him to slow down, for fear of scaring you.
“Kellam?” You stared at him, looking just as confused as he was. But he wasn’t certain he had a good reason for it. “How did you find me?”
“Panne and Nowi helped track you down. Morgan was wondering where you went, and nobody has seen you this morning…did you…did you not come back to camp last night?”
You looked away. “No. I did not.”
“Why?” He stepped a little closer, “What’s going on? Panne said…something about your condition. What was she talking about? Are you ill?”
“No, I…I’m not ill. I’m fine. I just…I can’t…I can’t handle this.” You shook your head, looking down at your hands. “I don’t know what to think about Morgan. About you.”
“Me?” He echoed, a spike of fear in his chest. “D-did I do something wrong? Please, tell me, Robin! I swear, I never want to hurt you, so whatever I did, please just-”
“You didn’t do anything wrong.” You shook your head again, your fingers starting to tremble. “It’s…it’s the future. It’s Morgan. Your son.”
“He’s our son.” Kellam said quieter, but your frown deepened.
“You saw him, Kellam. You saw his face, his body- he doesn’t look like me at all!” You finally said, “He wears armor like you, he has your hair, and your kindness, and…and no scales, or fangs, or- what if he’s just your son? What if he doesn’t know me?”
“Robin…” He was at a loss for words. You were overwhelmed with your fears; that much was obvious. You looked up at him, your brows drawing together as though your tears were about to spill over.
“What if you find someone else? What if you and I cannot continue, we cannot have a family together? What if we have a child, and you’re so repulsed by it…or w-what if something happens to me, and you have to move on?? Morgan remembered you, but he doesn’t know me! He doesn’t recognize me. What am I supposed to think? If I’m destined to lose you, then- w-what do I do?”
His fists clenched, rushing to close the distance. “You won’t lose me. You’ll never lose me. I love you more than anything- don’t you know that?”
“Of course I…I love you too, Kellam, that’s what frightens me!” You exclaimed, “What happens to me? What happens to you?? That boy doesn’t know anything, but it’s obvious that he’s not ours. He can’t be!!”
“He is, Robin! How can you be so sure that he’s not your son, when you haven’t even spent the time to get to know him? I’ve been with him for a day, and it’s clear that he’s our child. Why are you so afraid of this? Why did you run away??”
“Because I-” You froze, a single tear slipping down your cheek. Your hands came to your middle, and with a deep breath, you finally spoke.
“Because I’m with child.”
The words struck Kellam like lightning. The gasp he took got stuck in his throat, eyes blown wide with the realization of what you just said. You couldn’t brin yourself to look at him, wrapping your arms around your waist and hugging yourself, anxiousness spilling out.
“And I…I was excited, I was reassured when I spoke with you the other night, but…but when I saw Morgan it changed everything. He doesn’t look like me. He doesn’t have anything to do with me, a-and he doesn’t remember me! What if I’m not there? What if this child inside me isn’t Morgan? What if it’s just a child who becomes a monster, or doesn’t even make it? What if…what if you leave us, because this baby isn’t what you want? What if-”
You could not speak anymore, because Kellam pulled you into a fierce embrace in a single breath. He clung to you, burying his face in your hair and holding onto you for all he was worth.
“Robin…Robin, Robin…my wife…my love…!” His voice was a trembling whisper. You could hear how quickly his heart was beating. “We’re going to have a baby now…oh, I can’t believe it!!”
Your hands slowly came around him, resting on his back with tentative joy. He was so happy, he was in tears…? Was he really…
“I don’t care what our baby looks like. I don’t know if it’ll be Morgan, or maybe another child that justhasn’t come back from the future yet. But what matters is that we’re going to have a baby. And I’m going to love them, just as much as I love you. No matter what they look like, o-or if they’re born breathing fire! You’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. And any baby we have together is going to be perfect. Just like you.”
“Kellam,” You hiccuped, staring up at your husband. You were both just a mess of tears, trying to comfort one another as the gravity of what this meant really was.
He took your face into his hands, stroking your cheeks tenderly. “Do you trust me, Robin? Do you…do you trust that I’ll take care of you, and our baby?”
“I-I do. I do, I just…I’m scare of the future…of what it could be.”
“We can’t do anything about the future. We can only worry about right now. And right now…right now, I’m the happiest man in all the realms. We’re going to have a family together- A-and nothing will ever change the joy I feel, for you and for our baby.”
“And what about Morgan?”
“Well…he loves you. And he loves me. He’s our son. Even if his circumstances are different, he’s got amnesia. You could very well be his mother, but maybe he just has more human traits because I’m, well…human.”
He laughed softly, his arms coming around your waist. You settled into his chest, listening to the heavy thump of his heart. It was slowing down and far more steady, relieved that he was able to take in your fears and comfort you.
“I guess that’s…that’s a good point.” You sighed shakily, earning a kiss atop your head. You nuzzled into him, “I should at least try to get to know him a little better, shouldn’t I? And I…I trust you, Kellam. I do. I love you, too. I guess I was so scared, I didn’t want to…I was scared of the possibilities.”
“It’s scary. It’s…it’s a difficult time to be having a child, isn’t it.” Kellam sighed, “We’ll need to speak with Chrom about accommodations for you, given that it’ll be much harder to fight once you’re nine months pregnant.”
“You think that’s a good idea?” You asked him quietly, and he nodded, stroking your back.
“I think the sooner we let Chrom know, the easier it’ll be to find solutions. It’ll be difficult to hide after a few months, anyway. I’m assuming you’re pretty early into the pregnancy, huh?”
“A few weeks, according to Panne.” You nodded, “But I haven’t checked with a cleric yet.”
“Then we’ll do that first. Libra might be very helpful in taking care of you while you’re with child.” Kellam decided, a blush dusting his cheeks when he mentioned th ebaby again. You giggled, feeling the worries start to melt away.
There was so much that you couldn’t be certain of, in that moment. The future was ominous, and you didn’t know how you were going to get through the upcoming challenges that were tied to having a child on the way…klate alone during war.
But there was one truth you could remain grounded in, that you took a deep breath and swore to yourelf that you would never doubt from this moment onward.
Kellam was deeply, ridiculouly in love with you. And nothing would change that.
Another truth you would learn only a few hours later was that Moragan was indeed, without a doubt, your son from teh future. His demeanor certainly was telling, but he sneezed during dinner and proceeded to char your meal with a small blast of fire.
Definitely your son.

Anyways still been knocking around the idea of a Three Houses/Awakening AU. More specifically, the idea of the cast's future offspring coming back to the past to ideally prevent some form of calamity. Possibly even averting or at least heavily changing the war and its circumstances, based on the potentially world-ending threat.
Still trying to work out what the threat exactly is, but I find myself inspired by Grima's origins in SoV as essentially a homunculus gone way whack. Especially since Sothis and the Nabateans are essentially the 3H world's answer to the Divine Dragons (and Manaketes) seen in other games in the series. Plus, we know an Agarthan successfully created an opposing entity to Sothis in at least one timeline in the form of Arval, though obviously this would be much larger in scale.
Anyways while cooking that, I did also put in a little thought to how the future kids would work mechanically and I'm developing their characters a bit. If it were an actual game, they'd be tied to their fathers with their mother being variable amongst the fathers' paired ending options (plus Shez, because I'm including them with a slightly altered backstory); the big exceptions here being Edelgard and Byleth, who have future offspring regardless. Probably keeping paternal options with set kids limited to Academy students + Ashen Wolves and Cyrus.
I also like the idea of said kids' hair and eye colors being some color blend of the parents. It may not be how genetics work but I feel like it's a nice way to guarantee resemblance to both. I may have been messing around with this on my phone's art program.
#fire emblem 3 houses#fire emblem three houses#fire emblem awakening#au#three awakenings au#actually i might post those color blends just to have them somewhere#im done with Hubert's so#lmk if you guys wanna know more#not sure about art but ill probably eventually post profiles for the offspring#fe3h

A commission I got from @diadoesart of Kiibo as a Fire Emblem Manakete (in his dragon form, obviously) for an AU I have. His wings are supposed to mimic his jetpack!

— what if.... i just make mukuro a little more... weird. it'd mainly be her verses/AUs where she's more dragon based but just
what if she just straight-up eats/takes a few bites out of people after defeating them?
arrancar mukuro - defeats a shinigami/hollows/human/fellow arrancar and takes a few chomps out of them, does she gain a power boost? sure, why not.
manakete mukuro - in dragon form just straight up eats people on the battlefield probably more towards those in leather/no armor
and bog standard dragon!mukuro ( probably also fits with her bg3 verse ) well she does melt people due to her poison breath so I wouldn't put it past her to consume knights.
#»» ooc. || ✨ — ʟᴏᴄᴀʟ ꜰᴏxɢɪʀʟ ꜱɪᴍᴘ.#\\ i don't know what to tag this as lmao#\\ maybe its the part that wants to RP ghoul!mukuro again lmao

AU ask! Fire Emblem, Fates/Awakening, what about an AU where ALL the royals (Corrin, Nohrians, Hoshidans) are also actually manaketes (so basically our favorite Idiot Trio would've gone from Anankos straight into the arms of other dragons -cough-)
(From this ask meme HERE)
Thanks for the ask, Shreedle! I'm excited to answer this!
Oh boy! That's a hilarious idea! I'll do my best. Here we go!
-The Trio are shocked to say the least. They just spent how long fighting invisible undead armies in Valla because a certain-dragon summoned them to his world with "Please help me. 🥺". And the Trio, kind-bleeding hearts they are (and probably a little attracted to this Hot Stranger because I WILL shove my Anankos/Trio agenda onto everyone) accept without question.
They're used to dragons, but in small quantities. It's a little difficult to wrap their heads around the idea "there are more than just two manaketes in this world".
-Still I don't think the Trio are in awe of the royals transforming. The most excited is Odin, but he's just there to wax poetry over their forms and what sort of mystical power they hold, etc. He's not about to prostate himself on the ground because "Holy Crap Royal Dragon". To the Trio manakete are friends! They've known Nah for majority of their lives! This underreaction/awe actually lands them in hot water at first because it's seen as a sign of disrespect... at least publicly...
-Privately, I think the royals would be relieved that the Trio aren't immediately fawning over them. They're still people at the end of the day and being treated like some sort of "holy, royal object" is not just tiresome but dehumanizing. Xander especially would be pleased because he's Crown Prince and he's used to people trying to suck up to him to gain favour. (The Trio however, are Very Attracted to their lieges because sexy, powerful dragon people. An understandable stance.)
-The Nohrian royal's dragon form, by the way, is probably closer to a Western style dragon given Nohr's European roots in design elements. Their colours are darker too, to reflect the darker environment of Nohr. They can also stay warm for longer in dragon form and can heat themselves easily and not cause damage. This in turn makes them GREAT furnaces ahaha.
-In contrast Hoshido's dragon forms are closer to Eastern style dragons. They're longer and thinner with more agility and dexterity in their actions. They might not breathe fire the same as their Nohrian counter parts, but their agility and speed are an asset to the battle field. Also, Ryoma as a dragon can cause a full lightning storm so... I wouldn't piss him off any time soon.
-Finally like Corrin I like to believe the Nohrian and Hoshido royals have dragon-like aspects in their human forms. Their ears are naturally pointed, as all dragons in FE are. However, I like to think they are all magically gifted to certain degrees. They can also adjust to seeing in the dark faster than humans and they aren't injured as easily as humans. Sadly, I think Corrin is the odd one out in regards to deciding Shoes Are Evil. Sorry Corrin, but everyone else is more practical than you.

//turns an idea around in my head (dragon au x fire emblem for obliciously/secret half-manakete/dragon Sa whose sword-- from dragon mom-- being a modified dragonstone-like device that, instead of allowing a full draconic form, allows for the controlled and powerful ‘release’ of original powers & abilities while still in their human form)

a kiss where they’re both covered in blood
//au; idunn is on the brink of degeneration. features heavy themes, notably body horror
"I'm... Sorry..."
Sorry for the horrors she made him endure. Sorry for the sacrifices she imposed upon his body--for the blood staining his hands, his arms. Blood that she drew, in her fit of draconic rage. She never meant to send her claws flying for his chest. She merely wanted to protect him from that oncoming threat of bandits... Why she lost control--why now--she'll never be able to understand.
But she doesn't need to. Knowing won't matter. It won't scrape any of the gore off his or her body. It won't return the blood to his gaping wounds. It won't undo the tragic loss of Fogado's limbs--how they were punctured in the attack.
It isn't some kind of magic remedy, spooling back the thread her hands unraveled.
Tears stain Idunn's face, and a look of terror fills her unlike eyes. Holding his hand in hers, she notices something she had neglected to pay attention to: scales mar her human form. She reverted back to her manakete shape so hastily--after being snapped to her senses--that some of the Demon Dragon wasn't sealed properly away. It clings to her like a cocklebur, only its thorns sink deep into her skin. It's on the back of her hand, and it crawls up her arm, and it pulls away at the flesh on her cheek. She wants to wail and scream, and shake and tear and rip the chitin from her body, knowing what it has done to poor Fogado. "I'm sorry..." She is muttering again, in haunting refrain, and more tears follow. They don't stop--Idunn does not allow them to. As long as blood flows from his gashes, so too shall this stream of sorrow pour from her eyes.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry...!"
With each repetition, she sinks deeper into despair. Ordinarily, saying something more than once helps cement it into Idunn's mind. Those words, 'I'm sorry', and the weight they carry--she must never forget. Using her powers in reckless abandon has a toll, and the unlucky soul she met at its gate today, was the prince.
But he moves still, twitching in her trembling grasp. She freezes, and he is allowed to glide across her body freely. With all the grace of a figure skater his lips find her face. They press--gently--and they slather a splotch of blood on a spot of clear skin. Her icy visage is dyed a deep shade of red. Does he forgive her, or is he saying goodbye?
Maybe a bit of both?
"Please..." her voice stammers again, already broken into a sobbing mess, "Don't go... I don't want to be alone!!" Not again. Not like before.
Wrapping her arms around his neck and back the dragon pulls her human close. She hugs him against her chest, feeling the beat of his heart slowly recede. It's getting dimmer, and dimmer, and dimmer. A candle without any more wax to burn, a bucket pulled from a well that's been dried up. There is only passion to keep it pulsing, and borrowed time. Idunn leaves him one kiss to return his favor--knowing what they are and what they mean to humanity--then another to express sorrow, another for gratitude, another for sympathy, another for hope, another to plead...
And each time she does, she utters that somber phrase,
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."

i'm simply waiting for something to turn up, with my hopes high
transformers, fire emblem / rodimags, minirod / wc: 999 / warnings: injury / notes: part of my TFxFE crossover au! not to be confused with the general fantasy au which is completely different!
“Rodimus, watch out–!”
The lance came from– well, it certainly came from somewhere, Rodimus just couldn’t tell where. One second, he was fighting, and the next he was on the ground. A searing pain stemmed from his shoulder, and Ratchet was right by his side, shouting something that Rodimus couldn’t grasp. He wasn’t able to process a single word coming out of Ratchet’s mouth. His vision was blurry, and while he could feel his mouth working, he couldn’t form words. Ratchet closed in, and further away, Ultra Magnus loomed.
~~~~
When Rodimus awoke, he was not in a medical cot, as he had expected to be. Rather, he was in his own room, laying on his own bed. Looking up, Ratchet was there– staff glowing, hovering at his shoulder– and so was Ultra Magnus.
Not– not Ultra Magnus. Minimus. With his helmet off, cradled in his arms, his ears were on full display, flattened against his head as they were. Distantly, Rodimus recognized how happy it made him that Minimus trusted him like this– enough to reveal who he really was so readily. Even more distant, Rodimus knew that that wasn’t quite right, that there was plenty about Minimus he had known in the past and now could not remember, but he was still a bit separate from himself, and didn’t have the processing power to really dissect that.
Ratchet, noticing that the manakete had awoken, spoke first. “Finally awake?” He grunted, “gave us a bit of a scare back there.”
Minimus, too, had turned from staring down at his helmet to looking at his liege. He stayed silent. Rodimus attempted to sit up, but Ratchet placed a hand on his chest, stopping him from doing so. “Sorry,” Rodimus started, clearing his throat. “What happened?”
“Well,” Ratchet began, scratching his head, “a lance went flying at some point in the last battle, and it ended up landing straight through your shoulder. I don’t know if it’s ‘cause we caught it early, or ‘cause you’re a manakete, or what, but you’re gonna be fine. Just, uh. Don’t move yet.”
Rodimus blinked up at him, as the staff stopped glowing. As opposed to the sharp, overwhelming, violent pain of when he had first been stabbed, the wound now only left a dull, throbbing pain, a mere memory of the injury. Ratchet could fix anything, huh. “I’m gonna be fine?”
“That’s what I said,” the troubadour replied, standing. “Minimus offered to watch over you in case there are any complications,” he clarified, “and you can thank him for carrying your sorry ass all the way back here. Shoulda seen him.”
“Thank you, Ratchet,” Minimus said finally, and when Rodimus turned to look at him, he noticed a faint blush on the kitsune’s face.
“Yeah, yeah. All part of the job.”
And then Ratchet left, and it was just Rodimus and Minimus. Alone.
After a moment, Rodimus cleared his throat again. “You carried me here?”
“Yes,” Minimus stated simply, blush still on his face. Minimus didn’t tend to wear such expressions, not from what Rodimus could remember. In fact, in recent memory, Rodimus had only seen his face decorated by such expressions as anguish. It was nice to see a change, and Minimus looked oddly peaceful like this, a tad embarrassed. His figure only illuminated by soft candlelight and the gentle glow of Rodimus’ scales. After a moment of silence, he sighed, visibly heaving. “You… made a mistake in the last battle.”
Rodimus blinked, suddenly drug out from his flowery thoughts. “What?”
“You rushed ahead,” Minimus spoke, firm and quick, as though possessed by urgency– like he had to say this, even if he didn’t like it. “Megatron had developed a well put-together plan for how the battle was supposed to go, and he did it in such a way to minimize both injuries and casualties.” He paused only to catch his breath. “You disregarded this, pushing ahead, which led to you suffering a bad injury.”
“Yeah, I know,” Rodimus interjected, snippy. “I’m apparently bedridden for a while. I was there. But Ratch said I was gonna be fine.”
Minimus grit his teeth. “Yes, but this injury could have been prevented if you took care to follow the plan.”
Rodimus could feel himself heating up. “Are you seriously lecturing me right now?!”
“Rodimus, I was worried about you!” Minimus snapped, very suddenly. “I’ve never seen you injured like this– not since we were separated! Yes, Ratchet said you’d be fine, but in the moment I didn’t know that!” His voice shook, hands clamping down tightly onto his helmet. Suddenly, he didn’t look peaceful, but rather worn, tired– how long had Rodimus been out? “This could have been prevented, and if you aren’t careful, it might happen again, and next time you might not be okay.”
“Minimus…” Rodimus started, taken aback a bit. The kitsune dropped his head, not meeting Rodimus’ gaze.
“I was worried,” he reiterated. “I don’t want to lose you again. We were separated for so, so long, and I don’t– I don’t want to lose you permanently.” He took a moment, seeming to collect himself a bit. “When we escaped Nyon, I thought I would never see you again.” He raised his head again, but still, he did not meet Rodimus’ eyes. “I know you don’t remember anything from before you woke up, and that’s okay. There’s nothing to be done about it. But I’d hope to be able to share this time with you, now that you’re back in my life.” His voice was strained. “This can’t happen if you’re busy running headfirst into danger.”
Rodimus, despite a bit of protest from his shoulder, raised himself up, reaching for Minimus. He wrapped his arms around the kitsune’s neck, drawing him in, allowing him to rest his head on the manakete’s shoulder– the not injured one. Minimus did not hug back, but that was okay. “I promise I’ll stop being careless,” Rodimus said softly, and Minimus huffed into his shoulder.
“Please.”
The more I think about it, the more similarities I see between the plot of VLD and the stories of many Fire Emblem games.
Honestly, Allura’s story is sort of a combination the stories of three Fire Emblem protagonists, Marth from Shadow Dragon, Celica from Shadows of Valentia, and Alear from Engage.
There’s even a race of magical beings that regularly sleep for hundreds or thousands of years. They’re called manaketes and they’re essentially dragon people, able to shift between human and dragon form.
I’ve had this idea for a VLD Fire Emblem AU that’s been rotating in my brain like rotisserie chicken for the past few. A group of mercenaries consisting of Lance the archer, Pidge the Mage, Hunk the armor knight, Keith the myrmidon (that’s FE’s standard sword wielding class,) and led by Shiro the paladin, stumble upon the resting place of Allura, princess of the Divine Dragons, and her retainer, Coran, and awaken them from their 1,000 year slumber.
Now they must travel across the continent collecting the five legendary Weapons of Voltron and defeat the Galra Empire and its leader, Emperor Zarkon.
oh bro i know nothing about fire emblem but i would read the HELL out of that fic so fucking fast
((Expanding on a random weird AU idea I had-
Grima dies when Robin sacrifices herself... then wakes up as Corrin. Specifically, post-kidnapping, no memories of Corrin's past. They remember being Grima, but now they are... a different dragon. With a loving family??? their body is weaker than they were before but they can tell they are a manakete... adopted by humans???? they don't really understand overall how any of this has happened
the plot of fates starts and they realize their body has two families? worse, before they shift into their dragon form for the first time, they have a memory of actual Corrin's past. so they have to struggle with their own sense of loyalty, a totally new war... a mother they never really got to know dying before their eyes. and on top of it all, the knowledge they are possessing yet another body against their will, but in this case not knowing at all why or how
........idk if I'll do anything with this it just seems interesting-))
#ooc#misc ;; verse#((I don't even remember the Fates plot very well I just remember#((I overall don't like it that much execution-wise#((but I remember enough to lay down this framework...
Well, there's four timelines for Helena and the secret fifth dear emperor one isn't, it's just a silly au.
So Helena's deal is that she's depressed and lives with her parents but one day goes on a vacation to Spain where she meets Ione and enters the hallway. In the canon timeline she goes to a world with a neverending war and becomes an immortal monster and loses her memories of her past self. She still has a human form but can turn into a huge phoenix griffin monster. Later on, she falls in love with an enemy soldier and they escape to another world, have a daughter and then her spouse dies. A lot more crap happens but that's another story entirely where the daughter is the Mc so I'm not gonna get into that.
The main part to focus on is the amnesia and monster thing, because those are recurring themes in all timelines.
In timeline 4, she's in a lab in a really messed up world and is experimented on for several years. She manages to escape to another world, but dies because her body cant function very long without the machines and spells the scientists used. It's the worst timeline :c
In the dear emperor au, she escapes to the dear emperor world. The gods quickly find and heal her. One god called Mathis (don't worry about him, he doesn't come up in the story of dear emperor) offers to erase her memories of the lab if she'll become a guardian of a mountain top that some minor deities live at. She accepts and he turns her into the phoenix griffin monster to make her more powerful.
So as of the story of dear emperor, she lives with some deities ontop of a mountain. She's taken up embroidery and is satisfied with her life. She's aware that Mathis giving her amnesia was a mercy so she's not really curious about her past.
In the romhack, she joins the army around chapter 16/20. She knows of Volkaire and despises him for wanting to kill Odeda and take her place because Odeda is like family to her.
Functionally, she's a manakete but I'll edit the class a bit to be called fire spirit and I'm gonna make my own battle animation :]
Personality wise, she's very calm and patient. She smiles a lot and absolutely loves taking care of people. She's a teacher for some of the younger spirits and nymphs.
As for when she joins the army, she doesn't really fit in and a lot of them think she's kinda odd and don't necessarily like talking to her. Brandi likes her. Ira, Edith and Lewis are neutral and so are most side characters. There's two very specific side characters that'd adore her and she'd be besties with them
Hello! Helena jumpscare. She's not a dear emperor character at all but I'm shoehorning her into the romhack anyway because I love her and I am NOT making a trains and tragedy romhack. She's a laguz-like creature in dear emperor :3
OH MY GOD, GOOD OLD TRAINS AND TRAGEDY! The first OC story I asked about back then!
Okay, tell me how is she like!
Admittedly this came about for an AU, but it’s also sorta canon too (or a concept of a thing that happens in canon whether or not I go back and redesign instead).
I mentioned way back in another post that Loki transformed Teru’s Xander into a merman. In that same attack, she also transformed Sparrow’s/Ephrel’s Chrom into a grimeal-flavored manakete. Both of these incidents was to be as painfully ironic as possible (the former to magnify his issues with swimming, the latter to spit in the face of his exalt blood and deep issues against Grima), but both do eventually overcome their insecurities and use these powers as their strengths (albeit Chrom had way more difficulties and fears in comparison to Xander).
As a manakete, Chrom is fairly small and has a less corrupted, degenerated appearance in comparison to a fully-realized Grima. He also originally had plans to have a blue iridescence to him that’s not really reflected well on this concept (or realized for the AU that inspired this sketch). Despite mercifully being nowhere as massive and chaotically destructive as Grima, and retaining his own will and self, his full dragon form is a very sulky noodle who flops over and guilttrips Lyon, Sparrow and Ephrel into petting him with the power of sad-face.
In its reappearance in a Magical Girl based AU, Chrom, out of desperation after a marathon of everyshit going wrong, accepted a blessing from Freyja with the promise of having a power that can solve a good chunk of his problems and became a magical hero. The problem he didn’t realize was that his blessing was pre-corrupted, and he instead transformed into a grimeal-themed monster whose power involved stealing the power of other heroes to strengthen himself via their blessings. Ephrel became a magical hero specifically to save him, and did so accidentally due to the nature of their powers purifying Chrom’s blessing upon him stealing it, albeit leaving his fully-realized magical form still “evil”-looking and terrifying, and still giving him powers based on borrowing powers of others.
#Chrom#Fire Emblem Awakening#Fire Emblem Heroes#FEH#My Kiransona Things#Magical Girl AU#My Art#I'm probably not going to explore his AU use of this form all that much anymore#But I definitely plan to explore his form as a manakete later down the road
Lissa wasn’t aware that she often met Frederick in his dragon form in the nearby forest. She thought that dragon was a big-sized-wyvern and a female one (She doesn’t know much about dragon and wyvern and imagine its as a female), she always like to play with it (by pulling its tail, ears, ride on it and pretend she was a dragon knight etc.) and even give a nickname for it as “Browny the Forrest dragon”
She always tell Chrom and Frederick about it and her brother even encourage her to mount that dragon but Frederick said it wasn’t good idea cause it might harm her later..
“Hey! Chrom! I met Browny again! We had a lot of fun time today!” Lissa said with really happy voice.
“Why don’t you mount it to your personal ride? and since you met her so often maybe she would let you do it easily“ Chrom encourage his sister
“I don’t think its a good idea, milord. To tame feral beast, you’ll require a lot of skill, Milady, even if she play with you, it doesn’t mean that she would let you mount her” interrupted by Frederick (better not let her mount me or I’m doomed....) <--- inside Frederick’s mind
