thinking of harpe visiting a town while on a mission as a knight, and he catches a glimpse of familiar, long blue hair, so at first he thinks he's seeing things as he hasn't been able to sleep due to keeping himself being busy. but then he hears that voice, and is speaking to someone else, calling someone else's name, and harpe finally follows in that direction

it is then he see ronan walking alongside a guy, and he seems relaxed, not smiling as much as harpe remembered he used to do when they were together, but he's also not frowning, like he was always doing on the months before his disappearance

for months harpe has been looking for ronan, only to find him well, accompanying someone else, walking with someone else, who isn't him. and that's when he feels something snap inside him
