 OK i ended up looking up for the “official french translations” of Dragon Age stuff because, well, can’t be that bad right, French cannot be THAT BAD right?

So this is supposed to be “Grey Warden” which is now translated Guardian of the Shadows. Kay I can. Accept it.

Harrowing = Confrontation, I guess I see the idea. And Fade is apparently Immatériel (litteraly immaterial), I would never have translated it like that on my own but I guess, I don’t know how to translate “Fade” at this point anyway.

.... Is ‘Engeance’ the Blight??  Or well, the Taint since apparently the Blight itself is called “Enclin”?? 

I mean like, I don’t know how once could translate Blight but Google Translation gives more “ruiner” (to ruin) “brûlure” (a burn) or “corruption” (n/a) - I think if it was up to me i would have gone with Corruption even though this word itself is used in game but.

Every definition i know of “Enclin” makes me puzzled and I had to look up what ‘Engeance’ meant in french and it can be both “Children/Legacy/Group of People” and “A group of meprisable and hateable people/things” (which imo is just a question of tone since the exemple the wiki gives me are of theater, like when you turn something into an irony) and i. 

I shouldn’t judge because translation is hard and they tried their best but oh dear it does make me happy to just be able to play it in English and not bother with learning the french words
