Y'know, I'm happy yohaji got adapted to anime and I already accepted the fact a lot of things going to get cut down (a.k.a three chapters got cramped into one episode), or outright skipped (e.g.: Haruaki and Mame's chase on the first day, Miki greeting Haruaki in the teacher's dorm), or how the order of events getting rearranged (the TV interview happens after sport fest, not before), or how Haruaki's interest got changed to all sort of uniforms instead of just sailors, etc.

But please, PLEASE ANIME TEAM- how did you get Mame's eye color completely wrong?! He has blue eyes, not red! 😭Although I can probably miss it since Mamekichi's default face is like this

most of the time, both in manga and anime, but c'mon 😭

I still enjoy watching the anime, especially listening to the characters voice, but yeah, if you like the anime, please read the manga from the beginning because the pacing is much better in the original source...

The official website for Mai Tanaka's Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita! (A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!) television anime adaptation went live. To mark the occasion, Tanaka also unveiled a drawing (seen above). The 2024 release date of the anime is set.
