Hello!

I'm Di ( but you can also call me Spades ), she/her, a twenty-something disaster and this is my independent, semi-selective, heavily headcanon-influenced and in some cases definitely canon divergent now, multiship and multiverse ask / RP blog for Stede Bonnet, Izzy Hands and their family from HBO's Our Flag Means Death.

I’m selective in a way that I will write only what I see happening for my muse ( so, if you’re an OC, then I'll have a look at your about page and/or would like to come talk about your character in DMs if you don't mind telling me a bit about them, and if you’re from another fandom, then I will write with your muse if I see how our muses could click… that said, I'm very open and welcoming of crossovers and simply adore OCs ) and what I have inspiration for at the moment.

I also have anxiety and occasional ( sometimes pretty long, sometimes short ) bouts of writing block, so I may be slow with replies / have impromptu hiatuses.

Trial muse Malcolm Bright (open starter)

Everyone around him was so hooked on the idea that Malcolm needed to sleep. Their assumption that Malcolm didn't want to sleep was amusing to him, of course he wanted to sleep but he couldn’t. Sure he would drift off while strapped to the bed with a mouthguard for safety but it was just a countdown until the Pavor Nocturnus (Night Terrors) set in and with that came Somnambulism (sleepwalking). 

So there he was, 3 days without sleep, a stomach full of red vines and feeling fantastic. He was ready to take on the world, a new outlook on life with a plan in mind to enjoy his life on the advice from his therapist, he was going to date again. Gone the days of isolation, trauma of being a son of a serial killer, burying his head in working with the NYPD, spending more time with dead bodies than people, he was going to be a functional person and a social butterfly. 

Lollipop in his mouth and a spring in his step he was positively euphoric, some would even say manic. Malcolm looked around at passers by calculating and analysing everything from his attraction to them to quick and skilful profiles of who they were and what they stood for. Everyone was a potential mate and Malcolm was on a mission.

So I have the first four episodes of 100x100 of rp icons of Tom Payne as Malcolm Bright saved to my computer.  I made them for someone who is no longer in the Prodigal Son rp community anymore.  They are seriously nothing fancy, just screenshots of Malcolm sized down- like what I use for my Dani and Eve but if anyone wants access to them please let me know- or if you want me to get some more done.  

I can also do them for JT, Gil, Martin, Jessica, or Ainsley again just let me know.  I’d love to help anyway I can to make the PS rp community bigger and give people any type of assistance I can!

Absolutely free by the way!  Cause I’m no genius with this stuff and it’s fairly easy.

What about an AU where Martin was proven innocent 20 years ago? Because, really, there were no hard evidences against him and he had a good lawyer. So, he remains free, but he and Jessica are separated (at her insistence, of course) ever since. She doesn't forbid him to see their children, though. And welcome to the hard but relatively safe world of co-parenting!

PLOT IDEA

No but listen....

Malcolm Teacher AU (higher education)

Teaching behavioural sciences in the context of criminal investigation.

Everyone in the school knows about the new teacher and the fact that his father is a famous serial killer. Allot of the students and staff avoid him but the class has a waiting list and those allowed to join it are hand picked by Malcolm.

He begins each class by placing a file on a students desk. The file is a small investigation on what Malcolm could find out about then, criminal history, internet history (including everything they have said about the class online) and information that should be kept secret like bank information, social security number and birth certificate.

The day has come for Malcolm to place the file on your characters desk. Along with the usual that he includes he printed off your characters tweets about Malcolm, how at first they thought he was strange and possibly dangerous but now you think his kind of hot in a weird way.
