Meeting Santa | Grace&Kai

It had taken a few days, due mainly to her own busy schedule, but Grace had finally managed to find a free evening to take Kai to his promised dinner. The holidays and few weeks after were so terribly busy, what with managing both her shop here and the ones that she owned that were scattered across the globe. So the evening break was something she was actually looking very forward to. She had sent this lovely Kai a note to meet her at the shop at promptly eight o’clock, and by that time she was changed and ready. Dressed impeccably, as always, in a vintage deep ruby satin gown. After flicking the sign on the door to ‘closed’, Grace finished up a few things until the delicate chime of the bell caught her attention. Right on time..very good.

“Kai, I presume?” The vampiress asked, coming out from behind the front counter, pale elegant hand extended in greeting. “I do hope that the guards did not cause you any trouble in leaving? I made certain that my instructions were very clear” Grace smile graciously, sable eyes taking in the young man.

Malakai had been looking for a challenge and so, as he wondered around in his spare time, he heard a professor and thought he would watch the class. He had never done any kind of drama before but who knew, he might really enjoy this add another class to studies. When the professor asked for a hand, he shrugged and stepped forward, “I’ll help out - Though I don’t need the extra credit, I’m just seeing if I like this right now”.

“Okay, great,” Wilder said as one of the students auditing his class volunteered. “So, in improv, we don’t say no, we keep going, yes and, so pick an envelope, and I’ll pick one too, and we’ll work with what we’ve got okay?” he said as he gestured to the box of envelopes. “guests first,”

Ciaran smiled lightly as he read the last text from the male, before pocketing his phone and getting on with the start of his evening. He had only met this Malakai briefly, and while he’d initially wanted to avoid the other because of his name, the wolf now also pocketed the stupidity of that reasoning. He seemed like a nice enough chap, interesting. And Ciaran really did love swapping travel stories so he was looking forward to their chat. As the evening progressed and patrons started to fill in, he eased into the routine of the night. Grinning when one of the customers who filed through the door happened to be Kai.

“Well hey there love. I was startin’ to think you’d forgotten all about me” Ciaran teased him, with a playful pout.

Nova blew out an annoyed breath, bangs dancing across her forehead from the breeze. Jesus this shit was getting on her last nerve. Sure she loved to learn and that was why she was here, blah blah. But what the hell good was this Intro to the Supernatural BS going to do her in the future? Especially since she very seriously doubted that she would be allowed to remember squat once she left. Yet her she was, wasting her time because one thing she was sure of was that her grades for the classes she did actually give a shit about would suffer if she failed this one. But would ya lookie there...maybe there was a silver lining after all..

“Hey! You! Ah..hot guy from the gym!” Nova called out, fingers snapping as she spotted the man across the bakery. She was crap with names on a good day but now? She didn’t even care to remember. “I need some help. But get me an iced latte’ first, gingerbread” The small brunette demanded, brow arched as if daring him to refuse.

He didn’t really feel like going to the party at first. Thinking about the amount of people that was going to be there and him feeling so incredibly small and just so... lost. The idea was extremely scary. Yet, he did promise his friends that he’ll be there, even if it was for a little bit. A little livelihood they say. 

With a deep breath, he nodded in readiness before finally heading out. Stopping just shortly outside his room, he turned, looking down to the room next to his hesitantly. It’s been a minute since he’d really spoken to his next door neighbor and even though they would occasionally nod in greetings, it’s really not the same. 

Making his way over, he gave the bars a little knock before calling out to the male. It was only when his eyes landed on the other did he feel the quickened of his heartbeat. “...Hi there,” he breathed out in awe.
