Dragon Age: The Veilguard art book pages, under a cut due to spoilers:

Top: The team gathers around the table. Bottom: With the metaphor of a stolen eluvian hub, we could surround the central Lighthouse with the buildings that were caught in the magical radius. These became the player's rooms.

Veil whale and Xenon's: two directions we explored but ultimately rejected. Top: We liked the idea of the player base being on the back of a large sea creature. What if your base was a castle on the back of a giant creature that swims between worlds in the Veil? Bottom: Xenon the Antiquarian is the owner of a bizarre curiosity shop, the Black Emporium. This nobleman's wish for eternal life was granted by a witch. Sadly, he did not wish for eternal youth.

We explored the idea that Xenon would be sympathetic to your cause and would allow your team to use his private island (with its collection of eluvians) as a secret base of operations. This would be like the true location of the Black Emporium, but expanded. It would be fun to explore the rest of Xenon's Thedas-spanning collection.

When Solas stole the eluvian hub, a number of buildings were caught in the spell. Annotations on the illustration in the bottom left of the page read: "Davrin Creature Study", "Kitchen Lucanis Pantry", "Harding Conservatory", "Library & Mural", "Taash, Emmrich, Varric, and Rook", "Neve's Dream Study", "Bellara Workshop", "Saarbrak's Planning Room"

Top: The light on top of the Lighthouse helps frighten away the more dangerous creatures of the Fade. Bottom: The Fade gave us an opportunity to explore more surreal lighting, landscapes, and skies.
