They ask me why it's easy for me to identify myself from my ego and why I can easily desire ego death without much attachment to attention and identity.

"Ah that's because my social media is Tumblr."

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.

#tumblr is just looking at the things I'm interested in #while other social media forces me to scramble for likes by posting picture that will be seen by followers I must gain #and if I do well #i might get money somehow #making me a monkey hungry for measly bananas #on tumblr I'm just a little creature with hobbies #you don't even know me #i speak my mind but they are somehow less deranged compared from Twitter's 'free speech'#i just want you guys to know about my favorite fictional war criminal and their crush #that's it #I don't need clout for that
