Ask games! Loves these things.
Anyway, 4, 34, 35, and/or 64! Take your pick on how many lol
sorry that this sat for, like, two days...but thank you for the asks!
4. what is the plot bunny you've been carrying around the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven't written it yet and experience deep existential dread?
I have many. many. many ideas. and not just for ATLA. but I think these are my favorites:
for ATLA
a. book 2, Iroh and Zuko are in Ba Sing Se. I say "screw you" to canon a bit and extend their time there. during that time, Zuko and Jin start actually dating, they become friends with the Jet, Smellerbee, and Longshot. with that friendship, they slowly relax into being teens and having fun (in part because they're committing Blue and Green Spirit shenanigans together). Zuko kinda forgets he was Zuko and really starts to embrace Lee. and then, Jet sees a poster about Appa and drags Lee with them, he sees the Gaang, and Zuko come crashing back to reality. they retrieve Ty Lee and Mai from the Palace (by accident, cause they think Suki is there), and then it's a trek of a dozen teens across the Earth Kingdom to take down Ozai. oh, and also, Jin is a secret (but very bad) earthbender.
I've written about half of it. maybe I'll finish and post it one day. there's also a GREAT scene where Zuko (as Lee) goes to Jin's for dinner and to meet her parents and younger sister (that I added for funsies). it's so awkward and fun and I love it so much.
b. I got permission to write a story based on @gemgirl28's idea. I have yet to write it yet, but it is outlined. that delay just makes me feel bad, because I want to do the story justice.
Spy X Family
a. like many others, I have been sucked into the Spy X Family world. it's three years ahead of where the story is now, and it starts with Donovan Desmond dying in a plane crash. and then it's just sort of how the cold war grows from there, Loid has to fake his death, Yuri evacuates Yor and Anya, it's a whole thing. a whole, very messy, very chaotic...thing. :)
I've already started writing it. I'm maybe a chapter into it.
34. how do you name characters and places?
characters: baby name lists. so many baby name lists. the targeted ads I get make my mother-in-law VERY curious and happy.
places: I tend to come up with a connecting theme for a place. so like, for the Earth Kingdom: a lot of actual real-life Chinese towns/cities are named sort-of based on their location (Bei Jing: Northern Capital). so, in Eight Years Later, the few smaller EK towns I created are named after the location they're at. however, for the Fire Nation in EYL, because I kind of view the cultural side of the Fire Nation as a pan-Asian country made up of a whole collection of cultures, each island I've "named" is just a "firebender associated" word from different Southeast Asian languages. so like, in EYL, Araw Island is "Day" in Filipino/Tagalog (don't remember exactly which one, sorry!), Moesashi Island is "Embers" in Japanese, and so on.
(fun fact: Mosu actually has MANY meanings...such as "ember" and "humble"...he's kinda the only character in EYL, at least, that I didn't find from a baby name list and instead went the language route - but it is an actual name, also, I think...I'm pretty sure I found it somewhere...it's been years at this point, apologies)
35. tell us about a character who's very different than you who you love a whole lot.
Ty Lee. I am not that bubbly and positive. I wish I could be. I know she's hiding mountains of hurt, which honestly, aren't we all? but she's able to put on a very compelling facade to get through her day, and I'm not sure if that's admirable or even more depressing. but I like to think that post-canon Ty Lee is very happy and doesn't have to fake it.
64. what is your favorite title for a fic you've read?
people can be real clever with their titles, and I wish I had that skill. I really like goofy, silly titles. little jokes and what not. I don't have any immediately in mind, I tend to forget details like that, but scrolling through my Ao3 history, I found this one and it made me chuckle:
Mission Impossible: Loid teaches Yor to cook
(^ pretty much all I read at the moment are cute little domestic one-shots, so...this is cute and silly and sweet)
thanks for the asks! in true starlight fashion, I wrote WAY too much, haha

hi! as a new 🐢 diving deep into the sugary waters of BJYX, i really appreciate your blog - it's been more or less a lifeline in this confusing fandom! 🙏 I have one q about something that i haven't been able to find much info about so far: what's been DD's reaction to the whole GG(/227) scandal? has he commented on it publicly? i understand this is a sensitive topic for the fandom so if you don't feel like answering, no worries, but was just curious if you have any info about this. thanks!
Thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you’re enjoying my blog. 💛
There are so many excellent reasons why DD didn't make a public statement about the scandal, and he did do some things to show support in a low-key way.
Fake, fan fiction, CPN.
This is a question that comes up quite a bit and I've talked about it in bits and pieces, but I’ll give a more comprehensive answer here so that it’s all in one place.
First of all, DD did show public support for GG in the ways he was able (which is to say, subtly but clearly).
He wore the Gucci ox necklace - which was believed by fans to have been a gift from GG - constantly and openly during the scandal, even though it caused some controversy among his fans who hated the association with GG and didn’t want him to wear it anymore. When the heat from his fans became too much he began wearing it under his shirt, but it was still identifiable because it had a very distinctive box-link chain.
During the filming of SDOC3 he spoke about GG as ‘his friend from the film cast’ who taught him how to eat spicy hot pot. He also wore the ox necklace openly throughout the filming, even wearing it on his wrist as a bracelet at one point.
He continued to use GG-related kadians throughout the scandal.
He continued to make posts that fans believe referred to GG in subtle ways, such as the one where he pointed at his shoes as a pun on XZ as well as the very significant sneakers and ice cream post.
For promotional posters and ads where he was requested to provide a photo, he only used photos from events where GG was also present, even though his fans began to make fun of and complain about it. He still does that to this day.
However there were some really good reasons why he couldn't go beyond that. Let's go over some of that.
It would have made matters worse for GG
Let's face it, DD making a statement would have made matters worse, not better.
The whole scandal started with an erotic fan fiction featuring them both. Had DD waded into the situation by making some sort of a public statement, it would have changed the whole tone of what was happening from being a scandal about “GG's fans reporting an offensive story” to “DD and GG being embroiled in a scandal about erotic fan fiction featuring them.” It would not have looked good for GG or DD.
GG was trying to lie low during that time, and everything that DD does trends on social media. A statement from DD about all of this would have brought more attention at a time when GG was looking for less attention.
DD making a statement could have potentially brought his fans into all of this and instigated fan wars in a way and at a level to which we have never seen. Their fans would have been blaming each other for the fallout of what was happening. It would have been a nightmare. Even as things stand now, the fan wars are pretty awful - even in connection with the scandal last year. Imagine how bad they would have been had DD gotten directly involved. This would have harmed both of them.
Everybody needs to remember the context of all of this. The scandal happened in the midst of a pandemic, and everybody was trying to focus on the health and well-being of the people around them, on their own survival, and on the health their communities. Part of why GG ended up being so hated was because people felt that the scandal was taking up ‘public resources’ or airtime, at a time when it was the last thing people needed. When people are dying and fearing for their lives, it’s in extremely poor taste to be drawing attention to celebrity scandals. Imagine if DD had added more fuel to that fire. That would have hurt both of them tremendously at a time when the country was trying to focus on covid.
GG would have absolutely forbidden anyone close to him from speaking up. One of the things that he seemed to really focus on during the scandal was trying to protect others from the impacts of what was happening to him. DD speaking up would have caused GG a great deal of stress, anxiety and guilt. It would not have made him feel better or have helped him in any way. Quite the contrary.
GG and DD as a couple would have needed to ensure that they were protecting their interests. It would have been completely insane for them to go from just having GG’s career under threat to having both of their careers under threat. Neither of them is that stupid.
It would have made things really bad for DD and those connected with him
There is no doubt in my mind that the people closest to DD would have been strongly, aggressively advising him not to speak publicly about it. Not just his close friends and family, but everybody connected with him professionally. He really wouldn't have had a lot of choice in the matter, because people looking out for him and the interests of everything and everyone connected to him would have not permitted him to do a statement.
Most importantly, there is zero doubt in my mind that GG would have absolutely forbidden DD from saying anything publicly. He would have forbidden him whether they were friends or whether they were romantic partners.
Antis frequently try to paint DD as a self-interested false friend, but they forget that everything DD does has far broader implications than just his own interests. His image and the work he does represents the livelihood of many people beyond just himself.
Everybody that he works with and works for, all of the brands and endorsements that he has and the people connected with those marketing campaigns, DDU and everything connected with it, all the people that he and his team employ, everybody who is involved with his dramas and projects.
Just reflect for a moment on everyone and everything professionally impacted by DD - positively or negatively - and you’ll begin to see that it is a legal, contractual and business decision as much as it is a personal one, and his obligations wouldn’t have permitted him taking that risk.
He is not at liberty to do whatever he wants without any repercussions for other people. He would have had to consider the potential impact on all of those people, partners and projects.
DD speaking up would have had no positive impact whatsoever on the situation
Nothing that DD could have said publicly would have helped the situation for GG. The only possible positive impact that could have come out of it is that GG would have known that he had DD’s support. GG would have already known that, so why take so many risks? Particularly when the only likely outcome of speaking up would have been to make matters worse for both of them and everyone connected with them.
The truly helpful support that DD could provide GG would have been all behind the scenes. Help and support on a personal and emotional level, help and support on a professional level, the help and support of all of the contacts and connections that DD has within the industry.
There was nothing to be gained, yet a lot to be lost, by him speaking publicly about it.
Consider the source
I really want people to internalize that phrase. It's very important to examine claims from a critical perspective, and one of the key ways of doing that is by considering the source.
Take a look at the people who are speaking ill of DD for not standing up for GG publicly during the scandal. Do any of those people hold any credibility for you?
What seems to motivate them?
What do the things they are saying tell you about what their goals might be? If you follow their claims to their logical conclusion, what would you be led to believe or do? Is that an outcome you want to support?
Why is what they are saying important to you personally, and how do their words change your feelings about GG or DD? How might it change your behavior? What does this tell you about the potential intentions of the speaker?
What assumptions are implied by their words, and how do their words reinforce those assumptions?
How does their approach differ with regard to how they treat their own claims vs how they treat the claims of their opponents? Do you think they are being fair? Honest?
What impact do their words have on others, and how might that impact serve the motives and goals of the speaker?
What isn’t being said? What’s been conveniently left out of the discussion?
Is the speaker artificially limiting the possible explanations for things? What are some other possible perspectives on and explanations for what is being claimed?
Without exception, the people who insist that DD should have said something publicly are people who do not have his interests at heart. They are people who want to harm him. If you look at the context of those statements, they are always part of a bigger anti-DD/anti-GGDD agenda.
When you think about it from that perspective, it makes perfect sense that these antis are insisting that DD should have said something. They want to harm him, and his saying something would definitely have harmed him.
I would also go so far as to say that those people are often GG antis as well, who want to turn the fans of GG and DD against each other. This is one of the primary tactics that they use - not just to sow hatred between solos, but also to sow doubt, disillusionment and bitterness in BXG. The more heated any war they can foster between all of those fan groups becomes, the more harm that will be done to both GG and DD.
Why would anyone want to do these things?
Follow the money. GG and DD consistently hold the top spots in terms of star power, opportunities and endorsements. Entertainment is a highly competitive, extremely cutthroat industry, and the tactics used are often brutal. There are black PR companies and teams within rival entertainment agencies that go to great lengths to secure their own market share by using some pretty dirty tricks.
Fandom can be a very emotionally charged, obsessive pursuit. Those interests that can harness the fans toward their goals will be saving themselves a great deal of time and money. Fans who buy into the messaging will often spend hours doing ‘free labor’ of spreading these ideas to others - and no one knows how best to influence other fans quite like the fans themselves.
There is also a LOT of money to be made by gossip websites and other interested parties - including We/ibo. These people make a shit-ton of cash by driving toxic engagement on their platforms. Every click, every comment, every pageview represents money in the bank to them. Studies have shown that negative engagement tends to be far more intense and far more persistent than positive engagement. There is a reason why We/ibo didn’t step in to take action against the people spreading hate about GG last year. To do so would have cut into their bottom line.
As for the solo fans of GG who make these kinds of claims, well it’s pretty obvious why they say these things. They hate DD and hate BXG, and the claims they are making are aimed at discrediting the connection between GG and DD and attacking BXG. They believe they are protecting GG’s image from the perception of being gay.
So like I said, it is always important to consider the source. These people aren't interested in the truth. They are not interested in nuance or reality. They are interested in taking DD down, and often in taking both of them down.
This is why I frequently say that this issue is a huge litmus test for whether somebody is an anti, a toxic solo or a new turtle fan.
People who claim that DD should have spoken up, or who see the fact that he didn't speak up as a sign or measure of his relationship with GG, are antis or toxic fans, or else they are simply uninformed and being swayed by those groups.
What does DD’s ‘silence’ really say about GG and DD’s relationship?
I want to thank @cassycassie for their comment in the notes, because there was one other point I wanted to make and it’s this one - DD’s response to the scandal powerfully shows how much he loves and respects GG.
There was a fake rumor that came out about the scandal, in which it was said that when the scandal broke DD was so upset that GG had to comfort him. We tend to laugh about that rumor because it really has the ring of truth. It’s exactly how I think most of us can picture DD and GG responding. (There were also a lot of fake rumors that talked about how much of a rock DD was to GG during this time, so before people start running away with this and fan-fictionalizing DD as a bratty kid, keep that in mind).
We all know DD enough to know that he would have been losing his mind over this situation. When you think about the response he made - which was to not speak publicly about it - and when you think about his bold, often savage approach with the media and in relation to his career - the fact that DD didn’t make a public statement speaks volumes about how truly mature and responsible he is, and how much respect he has for GG.
Some fans feel that DD’s silence is actually a strong sign that BJYXSZD, and I don’t disagree. He responded exactly how I would expect him to respond if he and GG are really together. He responded in the way I think GG would have insisted he respond, and in such a way as to protect their interests as a couple.
When you think about how hard that must have been for DD, and how much he must have burned inside throughout that time and even up to the present day... it really is notable, and a sign of just how much he loves GG.

twelve. “the moon looks beautiful tonight, doesn’t it?”
kozume kenma x fem dazai!reader
(bsd x hq)
tw: mentions of suicide
masterlist. suicide freak!
"kenma just this once please!!" y/n pleaded with a frown
"literally why?" kenma grumbled back.
they were currently seated by the stairway of the second-year building, five minutes away from being late to their next class, which was history. "because it's fun!" she reasoned "besides, you don't even listen to the lesson, you just play games under your desk"
"yeah, but it's not considered skipping classes" kenma sighed
"c'mon kenma, live a little!" she chuckled "then you can die with me afterwards."
kenma sighed but nodded in reluctance "fine, but please don't kill me" he said with a sigh
"huh? then how are we supposed to die?"
"the point is we're not going to."
after a little bit more convincing, and a very troublesome escape from the school grounds, they were finally on their way off. the pair was walking towards the same riverbank kenma found her on after disappearing
"ah, isn't this nice, kenma-kun?" she said with a content sigh. she was holding a box of apple pie, while kenma chomps on a slice. "the air is nice, the apple pie is nice, the bridge is kinda nice" she hummed
"did you know, this is where i found atsushi-kun on the brink of death from starvation!" she exclaimed with a bright smile
"i- what?"
"yes, that's right" she said "ah, good times~"
"i don't think you should consider that a good time" kenma sweat dropped "also, what's with you lately?" kenma asks her
"hm? what do you mean?" she responded with a raised brow "you've been kinda.. tamed?" he muttered as more of a question than a statement "like, usually your attempts would be more bizarre." he said with a shrug
kenma then reached out to grab another slice of the apple pie. that is, until his whole body shuddered. he looked up at her, looking like a shaken up kitten as he immediately shook his head.
"i don't mean that i want you to start going all crazy again!" he shrieked
she simply laughed, shaking her head as she sat down on the ground "well then i guess you're fulfilling your promise of keeping me alive, huh?" she mused
kenma blinked at her words and meekly nodded, a faint smile ghosting his lips "i guess.." he replied "anyways, what are we doing here?" he asks as he takes a seat next to her
"were here to slack off" she responded with a nonchalant grin "work is like, really stressful" she said with an exaggerated sigh
kenma simply furrowed his brows as he sent her a questioning look "but atsushi said you haven't done anything in like a week-"
"anyways, kenma." she cut him off "in return of making you skip class, i'll share some of my incredibly utile knowledge to you!" she announced cockily
"i don't think i need it.. nor do i want it" kenma deadpanned
"well, i'm gonna tell you anyways"
"but first, let me beat this level" she said with a cheeky grin as she snatches his PSP from his pocket. as she began to play, kenma simply watched her fingers click the buttons, silently watching as he nibbled on the apple pie
"now, as i was saying.." she muttered "my knowledge consists of the mafia and their history.."
"that's kind of relevant right?" she beamed with a small smile
"no, not really."
"alright! well, the mafia is kind of fun" she started out
"im gonna have to disagree." kenma sighed "it's the mafia, why would it be fun?"
"also, why are we talking about this anyway?" he rolled his eyes playfully at her
"because its literally all i know about" she chuckled "unless you wanna hear about how to dispose of dead bodies."
"no."
"okay. well, in this same spot we're sitting on, there have been at least.. like, maybe one or ten murders?" she cooed out with a small smile. kenma looked at her, face scrunching up as he picked himself up from the ground, holding his apple pie tightly as he walked away
"goodbye."
she laughed loudly as she watched him walk away, eyes darting from between the boy and the PSP in her hands "wait! kenma, im kidding!" she yelled out
"well, im actually not, but.. COME BACK!"
kenma sighed, looking back only to find her shuffling around with the device in her hands as she screams about losing.
"kenma you made me lose!" she groaned out. the pudding head simply sighed as he trudged back to her with an unamused look on his face
"well, whatever" she shrugged it off. she placed the PSP back in his pocket as she jumped up from the ground "you know what we should do?" she mused "we should steal a car and have a road trip!"
"no! are you crazy?" kenma let out an exasperated sigh
"i dunno about crazy, but i do know that kunikida-kun has a car and.." she trailed of with a suggesting smirk
(he prolly doesn't have a car i think, but go along w it 😋)
"were not gonna steal a car just to go on a road trip." kenma said to her
"really? i don't think that's the right response, kenma" she slumped out defeatedly
"we are NOT gonna steal a fucking car-"
"YOU STOLE THE FUCKING CAR?!" kenma rubbed his temples in distress as she stood proudly before him, holding the car keys with a grin
"yep!"
it has been fifteen minutes since she's disappeared, only to come back to announce that she had carnapped kunikida
"y/n, im pretty sure this is illegal." kenma sighed tiredly "do you even know how to drive?" he asked
"of course!" she said with an offended scoff "well..last time i drived, it ended in a crash" she mumbled sheepishly "but that's not gonna happen, i promise!"
kenma looked at her up and down, before shaking his head. "that doesn't sound very promising.."
"cmon, live a little!" she exclaimed as she unlocked the car doors
"i won't be able to if i die in a car crash, you understand that right?"
"that's even better!"
although despite his disputes, kenma ended up joining her anyways. now, he's seated in the passenger seat while y/n drives the car. music was softly playing through the speakers, though it was getting drowned out by kunikida's yelling, which was emitting through her phone
"oi! you bandage-covered brat, where the hell is my car?!" kunikida exclaimed
"stop with the names, kunikida-kun!" she whined out "and how dare you accuse me of such!" she exclaimed with a dramatic cry
kenma simply deadpanned at her as kunikida let out a deep breath from the other line
"i have very right to accuse you becauSE RANPO TOLD ME IN EXCHANGE OF A CHOCOLATE BAR!"
"AGH! BUT I MADE HIM PINKY PROMISE NOT TO SAY IN EXCHANGE OF A CHOCOLATE BAR TOO!"
she fake cried as kunikida continued on scolding her through the phone "now, now, kunikida-kun~" she cooed out "dont go screaming a lot, or else your vocal system gets messed up" she warned "they say you can cough your throat out."
"you- wait really?" kunikida asked in wonder
"i dunno" she responded nonchalantly
"STOP RIDICULING ME, BASTARD!" he exclaimed
"whatever.. there better not be any scratches or dents or i'll kill you myself" it was all he said before hanging up
she pocketed her phone and looked over at kenma, sending him a smile "that went well, won't you say so?"
"50/50" kenma responded "anyways, where are we going?" he asked her
"i don't know kenma, i've never done this before" she laughed softly "let's just drive around and stop for food once in a while" she said "let's just talk! preferably about our double suicide"
kenma laughed at her antics and nodded "okay, i'd like that."
in the end, they ended up roaming around the city. at some point they stopped by a wine shop to buy all of chuuya's favourite wine just to mess with him
chuuya did in fact come into the shop minutes later and had a fit.
by the time the sky got darker, kenma suggested going to a mcdonald's for some fries. but sadly, it ended with y/n flirting with the female cashiers, so he had to drag her away. they even stopped by a cliff to 'stargaze' but it ended with y/n trying to make them fall to their deaths, so that ended quite quickly.
now, they were back in the usual restaurant the agency goes to, having a light dinner.
"so, kenma-kun, how was our road trip?" she cooed out
"it was chaotic." he responded "but it was very fun, thanks for that y/n" he said with a smile
she smiled cockily as she sipped on her coffee, letting out a small chuckle as she does so. "heh, let's just hope kunikida-kun won't notice the scratches on his car"
kenma shifted nervously in his seat as he noticed kunikida leaning on the back of her seat, as well as atsushi listening in on their conversation.
"um y/n.." he said nervously, slyly pointing behind her, though she seemed to ignore him anyways
she snickered under her breath as she continued to talk. "there's so many scratches on the side! and-" she was cut off by kunikida's fist making contact with the side of her head, resulting in her falling off the seat
"y/n-san?!" atsushi called out with widened eyes
"what did you say, brat?" kunikida asked in a low tone as his tall figure loomed over her
"a-ah! what did i say?" she mused "i don't think i said anything, kunikida-kun! you must be hearing things!" she laughed sheepishly as she stood up straight once again "and why are you interrupting our dinner, hm?" she asked him
"shouldn't you be at work? tsk tsk tsk" she clisked her tounge as she shook her head disappointedly
kenma and atsushi froze in fear as kunikida seemed to have grew angrier by the second. veins popped out of his temple from agitation as he started strangling her, all while she still had that dumb and taunting smile on her face
"and who gave you, the poster child for sloth and irresponsibility, the right to say that to me?!" he yelled
"kunikida-san! don't kill her!" atsushi yelled out in panic "why not?! that's exactly what she wants!" kunikida exclaimed
"ehehehe- AGH!" she coughed out, wheezing slightly as he shook her around
after a quick minute of calming down, y/n was now back in her seat, facing kenma who was talking about a game he was currently playing "and this one is um- um.." kenma cut himself off, feeling himself grow anxious
his cat-like eyes look up to meet kunikida looking at him like a disappointed father "is something wrong?" he asked quietly
"i had trust in you, brat." kunikida said "i thought you were sensible enough to keep the maniac grounded."
"buT INSTEAD YOU BOTH HAD YOUR FUN CRASHING MY CAR AROUND-"
kunikida was cut short as y/n slammed her hand on his face and pushed him away with an innocent smile "now, now, kunikida-kun~" she cooed "kenma was talking about his new game, don't interrupt him!" she scolded him
"i don't care, you're paying me back" he said as he sent her a pointed glare. she simply laughed carelessly at that statement. though her laughter abruptly died down as she spun around to face atsushi.
"atsushi." she called out
"y-yeah?" atsushi replied hesitantly
"as your senior, i command you to pay the cost!" she exclaimed
"no! also, im older than you!" atsushi yelled at her
"oya~" she cooed tauntingly at him "but aren't i the one that saved your dying self months ago?!"
"and to think i believed we had a special bond" she sulked
"but y/n-san!!" atsushi panicked "I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY!!"
"work it out~" she cooed as she ushered kenma out of the restaurant "we'll be going now~"
"are you really making me pay?!" atsushi shrieked
"bye-bye~"
"so what do you wanna do to end the night?" she asked him
they were currently walking around, basking in the moonlight while kenma talks himself up in his mind "um.. can we go back to the riverbank? like, by the bridge..?" he muttered quietly
"why? its already so late" she said
"just- can we just go?" he pleaded "... please?"
she looked at him and smiled, nodding along silently to his request. the walk to the bridge was quick and quiet. no one was speaking a word, only y/n humming under her breath and the sounds of cars passing by
the whole time, kenma was just screaming in his mind.
he was pondering over kuroo's oh-so-wise words. the suggestion to confess to her sounded more simpler at the moment. he's been preparing for it the whole day. but now that it was actually happening, he was honestly just considering jumping into oncoming traffic
"were here." she announced
kenma jolted, sporting a confused expression as he looked around their surroundings
"it seems you've been so lost in thought that you couldn't even tell we've arrived" she chuckled "so, what's on your mind, kenma?"
he didn't answer but simply watched her from his peripheral vision. she leaned on the metal railings, resting her hands on the bars as she looked down at the flowing water
the only light source they had was the moon, and the street lights littered around the bridge
"um.. it's just that-" he cut himself off with a deep breath
"that..?" she urged him further
"i- um-" he stammered nervously
kenma inhaled deeply through his nose before sighing. "i can't do this." he muttered
"what is it?" she asked worriedly "are you okay??"
"is it cause you wanna die with me? are you agreeing to the double-"
"t-thE MOON LOOKS BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT DOESN'T IT?!"
"i- why are you screaming?"
"fuck it. i like you, okay?"
