Whoa! “Ay, caramba” is known as like... the quintessential Mexican catchphrase over here! I can’t believe it’s also not widely used... my life’s a lie!
Actually, I’ve never heard a French person say “sacré bleu” EXCEPT in American cartoons. I think it’s either like... a very outdated curse word or you guys just made it up entirely.
They do say “Oh la la!” a lot, though. It’s pretty cute.
