I think this happens way too often. God hides Himself from us when He is present with us. It is only when our eyes are opened that we see His presence. Sometimes our eyes aren’t opened until after the event takes place. My thoughts were always that I WASN’T important enough to help someone. But the apostle Paul tells us differently. We’re only unimportant when we think we’re too great to help others. This passage came up twice today for me. It is very needed, especially when yesterday brought worry for the future. But if Jesus is the one telling us not to worry, why should we not believe him?
