So sick of people adopting high energy working breeds like shepherds and poodle mixes as first time dogs for their tiny suburban families and then wondering why their dog is so hyper and destructive. I know they’re weird looking and they aren’t as stereotypically doglike as other breeds, but greyhounds don’t need to be brushed or groomed outside of the occasional bath and I’ve never met a greyhound who wasn’t completely lethargic.

good god the night before last I woke up at fkin 3am and couldn’t go back to sleep bc I had some mild food poisoning, so naturally running off not enough sleep made my head hurt thru the day and overnight became a migraine and so I’ve currently been awake since 12am (it’s now just past 9am), have taken 2 very long and hot showers, and called out of work bc of the pain.
