I wanna go feral about something really quick. Ok? Ok.

So, do we all remember that one part in The Lightning Thief when Percy happens to see a random group of mortals who are "looking at them weird" and Percy tries to decapitate them? All because he was annoyed and pissed off at the fact that they were trapped in the lotus casino for so long, and because he saw Gabe on TV talking about how much he really cared about finding Sally. Remember how he then went on to literally decapitate Crusty?(I forget that guys actual name 😭) Then go on to fight Ares, etc?

Then all of the times in literally every book when he picks a fight with any god, monster, or just any being that he finds annoying? And how most of those times when he does that, it's because they questioned his power or he was feeling insecure about, or angry at himself?

Yeah. You know who else gets upset, and starts to release their anger by putting themselves in harms way and picking fights with anyone just because they can and they're angry? Luke.

It is clearly stated by Thalia in TLO that after Luke first met Hermes, he started "acting reckless" and picking fights with monsters or whoever got in their way, almost like "he had something to prove."

Percy and Luke are so alike that even the way they cope with their anger and feelings of inadequacy the same way (especially when they were both younger).

And there are people out there who have the audacity to say that Luke and Percy are nothing alike. Be so fuckin for real right now 🙄
