the absolute worst thing in fanfics is when itachi betrays the akatsuki and kills kisame. like my man did not spend three-eight years politely babysitting itachi's 5'7" emo ass for this kind of disrespect

#naruto #naruto shippuden #akatsuki #hoshigaki kisame #uchiha itachi #also. and i understand that i'm biased. i genuinely don't think itachi would be able to defeat kisame in a fight #at least not nearly as easily as some of y'all seem to think #kinda insane how itachi is overhyped in the fandom to the point where people seem to think he could wipe the floor with anybody #like no in fact he could not do that #yes he has incredible natural talent and is a terrifying opponent in his own right #but a character's strength can only truly be measured by one thing: how long they'd last in a fight against gai #and kisame would last longer than itachi #mainly bc gai would need exactly one kick to actually connect and itachi's ribcage would turn into powder #sorry but it’s true #gai showed up and itachi fucked off so fast you'd think shisui had come back from the dead to question his life choices #nah if you're gonna kill off kisame you gotta give him a better death than that alright he fucking deserves it
