20. what is the most influential advice you’ve ever received? i had a coworker at my part-time job that i worked all through college who was older than me and had been at the company for forever, and she could be a tough cookie to people but she really took a liking to me and to this day we stay in touch, haha. but i will never forget when she said to me "you don't owe loyalty to anybody but yourself" in regards to job/career, i have really taken it to heart and passed that one on to sooo many people

24. what is one of your favorite books? i was just thinking about this one recently, bc i want to reread it ... it's actually an essay collection and i remember really enjoying it when i had read it for a writing class but it's been a long time and i want to revisit it - how to be alone by jonathan franzen

i got it last year and had been going back and forth on whether to get the air or the pro. the pro has some more customization options and i believe a heftier core processor, but ultimately i went with the air because i carry it with me and it is significantly lighter weight for most of the same other features. i opted for the extra memory to run apps as fast as possible simultaneously, and i believe the storage is like the midrange option just as a safety net, since i really don't store a lot on here aside from what i save for tumblr and school atm~

⏤ temperance: can you describe a strange dream you’ve had? i have a lot of strange dreams actually but one specifically that i remember that i guess is relevant to this blog and also bc i almost never dream abt kpop people is that i was waiting in this VERY long line for like . a cafeteria ? of sorts ? with jaehyuk . and i was showing him the pc i have of him in my phone and explaining that i previously had the one where he was in the white outfit (for jikjin/this recent album concept) instead of the black one in there now and he was like oh ... well i like the white outfit better :/// KJBDGJH

⏤ the world: do you like waking up early? ok let me tell u that if there is one thing i've learned from having to wake up at 430am to drive to the hospital in the dark it's that i truly hate waking up early. it's not about the actual waking up part like i'm fine with that - but i feel like it's just wrong to be up before the sun, i hate the process of like having to go to sleep really early too to prepare, and i don't get people that are like oh i love being up when it's quiet ... i hate it . i don't want to be up with no one but the deer jumping in front of my car and my thoughts HBDJGHB

23. what is your biggest improvement in the past month?

this isn't a technical improvement but rather a mindset improvement. in the last 2 months since i moved blogs, i really took a lot of pressure off myself and let go of letting the note count get to me. it's sooo much more important that i'm making the stuff i want to make and focusing on the community of incredible creators (like you!!) around me, it's improved my experience in this hellsite SO much

26. give a graphic and or gif maker a quick tip!

exposure layer @ 25% opacity on soft light or multiply is my secret weapon for vibrant clean coloring, i think it works better than the vibrancy layer and it sort of 'sheens' the gif !

32. the least notes a graphic / gif of yours has ever gotten that you feel deserves way more. (Link it!)

oh this is hard! because making content for flops like. any notes are a lot sometimes BDSHJGB but ... something i guess i'm proud of that could've gotten more attention / i thought would have done better is this treasure set i did for my end of the year series, since both of my mini album sets with supposedly smaller fandoms did better. i think the ios tags mishap screwed me over a little AND teumes are leaving / not caring as much because of our nearly year-long cb drought, but i still expected this to land a bit better.

also thought my gg faves set would have done as well as my bg and soloist sets but . i guess i'm not a gg blog lol
