Maikah is a Bhaalspawn Harper, who'd been coping with violent urges through meaningful work. She'd likely be found near where Rafael spawns, since I imagine she'd replace whatever Harper was there.

answer in the tags: if your tav was a recruitable companion in bg3, where on the map would you find them and what would they be doing? would they be hostile to the player, or need their help with something before they could be recruited?

I am currently trying to redesign my first OC maikah, man. I should really change the work in progress name. Also, wow, I have not drawn a smiling critter in a good while like any of them.

AS A NOTE ON MY BLOG:

Primarily, it is only a single muse. However, since there are OCs that come with Maikah’s lore, they’ll also be available to interact with depending on the thread! 

This includes:

Cecil Arden, Maikah’s biological father. Youngest son of the Arden family, a group of nobles who work in the foreign trade business. He left his family to run away and start a life of his own.

Mahelitha, Maikah’s biological mother. Ancient elf with a lineage of supernatural visions. Her goal was to stop Fen’Harel from the visions she saw of him and his plans. It is possible she might have met Fen’Harel before.

Adamalis Elu’Alhan, one of Maikah’s foster fathers. Keeper of Clan Elu’Alhan, despite his illness. He found Maikah as the sole survivor of an attack and brought them into the clan. He is bonded (married) to Salu’vun.

Salu’vun Elu’Alhan, one of Maikah’s foster fathers. Caretaker and partner of Adamalis. He also found Maikah, raising them with magic.

Nerien Elu’Alhan, the First of Clan Elu’Alhan. Originally was going to be a hunter, but discovered his magic later in life. He has taken over Maikah’s role as a First, though there was debate as to whether he or Maikah would be transferred to a different clan due to the amount of mages. **(Note: In Maikah’s Inquisitor verse, they were transferred to Clan Lavellan while Nerien becomes Clan Elu’Alhan’s First.)

Daniel Arden, Maikah’s biological uncle. Cowardly pushover with a horrible attitude. He was the one that made contact with the House of Repose to assassinate his own brother.

Tobias Arden, Maikah’s biological grandfather. Current head of the Arden family. He decided the fate of his son after Cecil ran away with a woman he wasn’t supposed to marry, and he made sure that it looked like some awful incident.

There might be more to come, but those are the main ones that people can interact with if they wish.

Maikah’s Commentary about Companions & Advisors

If the Inquisitor wishes to get approval, then asking Maikah their opinions is one way to get slight approval from them. For these options, this is their thoughts on the Inner Circle, and this is only given once until new information provided to the party via personal quests. (Note: This does not included their opinions on who the Inquisitor romances, as that is a separate branch entirely and only appears when the romance is officially engaged. This might also be edited/revised.)

Inquisitor: I’m curious as to what you think about my company. Maikah: Your... Company? Exactly whom are you referring to?

(Choice Branch A: Companions.)

Warriors: 

Blackwall: I don’t know much about Grey Wardens or their moral code, but he’s straightforward with protecting those who cannot defend themselves, devoted to chivalry and aiding the Inquisition in stopping this chaos. As I see it, he’s a decent man.

Blackwall (post-Revelations): He carried a heavy burden. It’s no wonder he does what he can to help; he’s trying to find redemption and willing to do what it takes to make amends. That’s not an easy road for anyone to walk.

Cassandra: The Seeker is an intense woman. Faith is her skin and determination is her shield. I’m glad she hasn’t decided I’m a threat, because I never want to get on her bad side, even if it’s fun to tease her every now and then.

Iron Bull: I already felt short before. Height aside, the guy’s good at fighting, and he’s got a loyal group of friends. Rowdy, but loyal. Also, he’s got a good eye and good ears.

Rogues:

Cole: I find we have a lot of similarities. He wants to help, as do I. Yes, we may be eccentric to most, but is that really a reason to be distant? I think people should give him more of a chance.

Sera: Sera’s rough around the edges, but she has some good intentions. If only she could see that elves and mages are little people too… 

Varric: Witty with both a pen and words, I really enjoy his presence. A published writer is here in the Inquisition and a mere novice like myself wants to learn from him. Despite the complaining, he’s got a good sense of humor, which is a great disguise for all the inner turmoil.

Mages:

Dorian: It’s obvious he oozes confidence and passion. He’s skilled and an intelligent mage who has an excellent understanding of his craft, so why shouldn’t he? I would certainly enjoy talking more about magical theory.

Solas: The resident expert on the Fade. Articulate, insightful, and has quite the eye at being able to critically analyze whatever is in front of him. There’s never a dull time having a discussion with him. Still, he’s rather mysterious, don’t you think?

Vivienne: The Knight Enchanter. Even the title is regal, poised and precise — cuts deep into your courage if you aren’t perceptive. Intimidation and her position are what makes her stand out, but you know, some people act like that because they’re afraid of being vulnerable. Vivienne’s had to learn how not to be in order to matter beyond being a mage, I’m more than certain of it.

(Choice Branch B: Advisors.)

Cullen: Hm. I’m not happy with anything involving Templars. I don’t think I ever will be. Outside of my opinion, Cullen is dedicated to leading your forces, and it takes courage to be the one facing the enemy head-on. 

Josephine: Oh goodness. Considering how many nobles she has to converse with, I’m surprised she hasn’t collapsed from all the stress. All I can do is offer her someone to talk to… And figure out how to get back at some insufferable guests.

Leliana: Hehe, she’s pretty interesting. Her position as a spymaster really pays off, does it not? Thinking about all the information she carries--! (Giggles.) It makes me curious!

from first to last: maikah is super bored but is trying their best to pay attention; someone told a really funny joke and/or made one hell of a zinger, so they can’t hold back their giggles; and finally, what i imagine how they look while in the middle of a vision, even if it is a bit exaggerated.
