I love that for my art blog I’ve only had a few posts go past 500 notes. I don’t post often and rarely make non-art related posts so I don’t have much traction. Don’t care for numbers or anything, just enjoying posting stuff.

But the few times something was a big hit it’s always a silly drawing. Maidtyn, maidinnit, limited life players as bread and now mumbo jumbo flying away. That’s honestly the best thing I could ever want from posting on tumblr lol.

#grim talks #I don’t like looking at my notes number because I fear it would cause me to have an unhealthy obsession with numbers #lots of artists on instagram twitter and TikTok obsessive over numbers and I don’t think that’s what art is created for #I just post on tumblr when I like and post what I like #I would rather have silly little drawings get a bunch of notes for a few days once or twice a year then trying to draw everyday just for-#-the satisfaction of reaching high numbers like damn bro no #silly drawings and the occasional comment is fine with me lol
