DEADASS! I feel like the low education in America has made a lot of people not able to understand so many things but entertainment is one of them. People say the dumbest shit with their whole chest and they are just plain wrong.

Levi is about as deep as a puddle. So many other characters in the series have more layers than that fraud.

You know, I heard a really disturbing statistic in the US. About half of the adult population is at or below a level 2 literacy rating. Heartbreaking, isn't it?

I hope that's not the case where you are. Could be a game changer.

Anyway, want to hear an interesting fact about Levi? Isayama chose the name from the movie "Jesus Camp" because he thought the name sounded nice.

Hello! This is my new blog. I was on tumblr for years as a teenager (12-20ish) and now I'm back as an adult (25).

I finished AOT on December 30th and haven't stopped thinking about it. I remember watching the first episodes air on Toonami in my bedroom at my parents' house. Sweet memories. I would like to find some anime/manga friends on here :) I love my irl friends but they aren't into anime like how I am and I always had great connections here when I was younger.

It's snowing here and has for the past week, so here is snowy Erwin for my first post. Excited to make new friends and overjoyed that I found a mutual that I loved from years ago. My name is Sara and irl I use she/her because it's easiest for me but in my heart I don't care what pronouns are used for me. I'm also trying to figure out how things have culturally changed on here so if I'm posting in the wrong place or doing something incorrect please let me know.

I don’t even know where people get these crazy AOT takes? Like everyday I see someone talking crazy about a character in a way that doesn’t even make sense if you watch the show. I just saw someone saying Pieck is gross/poorly groomed, but she looks ill because of the hours/days spent being in titan form. (AND she’s sexy so shut up in the first place.) Also all the Bertholdt hate blogs, just miss the point? Like damn did you all watch the show? I’m all for hating justifiably but a lot of the hate I see is canonically wrong.

I think a lot of it could be boiled down to people not understand the complexity of a character. They all do bad things. Imagine yourself when you were 14-17, and then think about being in a war against people you are propagandized to think are evil incarcerate. Like take a second to appreciate how wonderful the world building is and how you’re meant to feel sympathy for everyone. They all lost something and many of them lost everything.

So STFU or start making hate comments that actually make sense in the canon instead of showing your ass and your inability to comprehend complex characters in a complex plot.

I have classes twice a week and have to drive about an hour to the big city where my university is. I’m getting my phd in criminal justice :) I want to help those who are forgot or overlooked by “the system.” Going to be listening to the IT audiobook.
