So alongside Idol Woman, I also entered a 2nd robot to Make A Good Mega Man contest, Ghost Woman! She was made with the idea of the Legless bodyframe category.
Let me introduce you to her.
Ghosty was made out of my love for Yo-kai Watch and other takes on general japanese mythology (ohi Okami), and her concept is generally done as a deliberate defiance of how Ghosts are generally used as either "edgy" or "scary" fodder.
Youkai aren't necessarely evil (don't get me wrong, a lot of them are very dangerous), but some are even downright doofy or even helpful spirits! Ghosty was made as a cute take on the Yuki-onna concept instead of merely just trying to make a stock default bedsheet ghost or a grim reaper disguised as a ghost.
I'm honestly surprised she got as popular as she did. Thanks to the efforts of the MaGMML3 devs she now haunts the halls of the contest, if you meet her she may spook ya, but she'll geninuely cheer you on in the challenges ahead at the festival!
And, really, a lot of people also cheer for her, I'm often asked to do more with Ghosty (even moreso than Idol), but more on those stories later.
Hey! I have an OC robot master named Cable Woman. I recently made her as a playable skin for the Make A Good Mega Man Level series so I could play it through as her, and I thought others might want to as well since she is objectively very cool.
Here's the link to download all of the costume files, and here's a mirror in case that's not working. Have fun!
If I downloaded it, it would probably be like two real life days long and take up 10gb. Contains both the 150+ original composed songs, and the songs from other games i.e. Kirby.
Game: MaGMML3 (Make a Good Mega Man Level contest 3)
Date and time: Weekend of 6th/7th of July, 2:00PM (EDT) or 20:00 (CEST) on either or both days
Stream link here!
Previously, I made a huge miscalculation in regards to Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. Stream all levels bottom to top, I said. That wasn't happening, but I have been beelining for Tier 11 offscreen. And I expect to be there come next weekend, with little to no cut corners.
Actually, I am in tier 11. As in, that's where I placed. So, !!DEV COMMENTARY ALERT!! once I get to my level.
And other levels. Because I know from what few levels I played before release there's some other really neat levels in there. My plan is (after knocking on wood) that I knock out all of tier 11 this Saturday! Then, probably plushies! Because there's 555 of those to collect in this game and there is one I'm after in particular.
From here on, I do intend to play all the levels that I can. Even if it's still over 60 of them. Also, chances are I'll also stream on Sunday, depending. No promises though, and the weekend after I have other commitments, just so you know!
See you then, but stay tuned for more potential streams!
We've hit 40 kudos on RE: Falling Stars! (And a plushie cameo in MAGMML3!) And in celebration of this moment, it was past time to answer a question I've been asked a lot: what does a Squishjelly look like? And the answer is... kinda like a Squishmallow, kinda like a Jelly!
MAGMML3 release date trailer in a bit over an hour...
you excited for that, or meh about it in general because overplayed MegaMan for a while? personally very excited.
Eh, I have my reasons for concern, scope of the project and such, but also just dreading the flood of asks I'm likely to get about it soon. I'ma just hide in here for awhile. This should be good and secure and safe, right?
well, it's been a while, and a whole magmml3 release, but i have finally completed my battle network fanfiction. it only took 11 months, the scope being triple the length i imagined, and being saddled with a persistent cold immediately after magmml3 finished to get it done! isn't that great.
enjoy one final delusion. and see you next time :)
guy i did the boss theme for in MaGMML3... it's a remix of a song from the original oh joes! i tried to render it in a goofy 2a03 nes style with not too many bells and whistles, i hope you enjoy
