What does your username mean?

Hi, thanks for the question!

When I started this blog I was a big fan of the game Oxenfree. Since I didn't know what that meant I googled it. It's from hide & seek... manners? ...where, if the seeker gives up searching, they can shout "olly olly oxen free" to signal for everyone not found to come out.

Another version of "olly olly oxen free" is "all the outs in free" and I liked that one better so I went with that.

From what little I found about possible origins of the phrase, the German phrase "Alle, alle, auch sind frei" comes up, which, as a German, I have never heard, nor does it seem grammatically correct so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I also fairly quickly failed my goal of being an Oxenfree-specific blog but I'm too attached to the url, so I just kept it through the years.

A Merry Magoloran Intro Post!

Hi there! My name is Magolor, or just Mago if that'd too strange for you. Hee hee.

(This blog was previously known as @mega-magolor)

Some of my favourite things are Kirby, UNDERTALE, Portal, Mario, Sonic, and Garfield! There's plenty of other stuff I like too, though. Invader Zim, Shaun of the Dead, WALL-E... I could go on!

Here's my top 8 favourite characters ever, in no particular order.

Maybe I'll add the order here at some point..? I'll give you the top three for now.

Magolor is my favourite character ever, with Sans from UNDERTALE and Wheatley from Portal 2 in tied second place.

He/him is just fine for pronouns!

I'm NOT a Magolor RP blog, this is just my account, but occasionally I do like to talk in character and/or copy his way of speaking (Or just do that without thinking... Hee hee.)! It's a lot of fun.

Magolor's Fun Facts #1!

Hi there, everyone! I'm starting a new experimental series of posts on this blog that will all be obscure facts about Magolor! Some may be more well known than others, but I have one or two that I haven't seen documented before as well! Let's get on with the first one, ya?

The form of Magolor pictured above in GIF form is known as Magister Magolor! Magister is Latin for "Master" or "Teacher", so it makes perfect sense. I feel it rolls off the tongue very nicely!

I found this information within the files of Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. The textures for his extra clothing on this model are labelled as "MagisterOutfit"! Oh boy, in this economy?

Jokes aside, I actually haven't thought about that in a while.

When I was asked that back in school my answer was always that I want to be a translator! I would still like that but I don't think I'd call it my dream job anymore.

I don't think I even have a specific dream job anymore. If my personal circumstances will ever allow me them, it's more a series of things I would appreciate. Home office availability, small team, little to no customer service, walkable distance... stuff like that.

Or maybe just volunteer somewhere. We'll see what happens~

Hi there! This blog has been renamed to @magister-magolor. It was formerly called @mega-magolor.

I was going to change it to Professor Magolor, but I went digging in the files of Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe and that form is actually referred to as Magister Magolor! Rolls of the tongue a lot nicer than Professor Magolor, hee hee.

apparently it's an issue with tumblr's auto flagging mistakenly targeting actual people. one of my mutuals also had it happen to them earlier and they shed some light on it.
