If I could have found turkeys I would have used them, but who doesn’t love a stinky kitty?
Sorry this is so late guys! But we bring you NOVEMBER’S TBR!!! YAY!!!
Kayla:
Currently Reading
The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel (Physical ARC Book) I believe I got this on a goodreads giveaway a while back and have been meaning to read it.  I finally started it last week and am not to far into it but my overall impression at the moment is I’m either going to love it or hate it.  I don’t really know much about the book and a little afraid to read any reviews and spoil it.
Pure (Pure #1) by Julianna Baggott (Physical Book) This book was from a book outlet haul at the beginning of the year and I’m really enjoying it.  I hope I stay this way because I already own the first two.  This is one I think Neko would probably really enjoy from what I’ve read as well.  I mean the main character has a hand that was deformed after an explosion and now is a doll.
Dreams from my Father by Barack Obama (Audiobook) I started this in October and slowly working my way through it but I really wanted to read this since I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.
To Be Read
I’m not sure what else I’ll read this month but look forward to reviews!  I’m going to work on getting more of them out as I finish them.  Anyone have any suggestions for books to consider once I’m done with the ones listed above?
Neko:
Currently Reading
Blessed in the Darkness by Joel Osteen (Physical Book) Actually bought this for mom for Christmas but am in serious need of hope so here we are! So far it is a great book with lots of scriptures, stories, and sound advice. Great read for anyone lost in the dark.
Convenience by Andrew Mackey (Kindle) The Blind Date with a Book group on Facebook was asking what everyone was reading. Someone said they were super excited about this, the latest book by their favorite author. I got a free ARC in exchange for a review, huzzah!
The Complete Fiction of H.P. Lovecraft by H.P. Lovecraft (Hardback) This was a gift on my big 3-0 in October from one of my brothers and it has so far terrified me, which is why it is taking so long to read… Yeah nightmare fuel!
The Mentalist Series Box Set by Kenechi Udogu (Kindle) I already read and reviewed Book 1 in the series and the rest will be reviewed probably in one big chunk. Look forward to it!
To Be Read
Angels and Vixens by Kim Petersen (Kindle) Kim Petersen was my very first review request! And I am stoked and honored to be able to read her second book in the series. It promises to be awesome!
The Brothers Three by Layton Green (Paperback) Another book I have been holding onto for a while, blargh. The second book just came out so I am super excited to get reading and see where things go!
Wucaii by Pembroke Sinclair (Kindle) My second Sinclair book! I loved her work Humanity’s Hope, which was an awesome zombie story (can’t wait for the continuation!!) She is a great author and I am excited to read more by her!
Class of ’59 by John A. Heldt (Kindle) I’ve said before that I hate time travel but Heldt does such a beautiful job with this genre that I can’t help but read more!
Alpha Wolves by D.J. Swykert (Kindle) The epic conclusion to Maggie Elizabeth Harrington! She’s back in town and a love triangle ensues!! Hopefully there will be less drowned cats… Still loved the first book and am looking forward to how things will end.
Yup, only two of these books are not requests! Bad Neko… Get ready for a whole bunch of reviews coming your way guys! 🐱
So what are you guys reading this month? Any requests? Any requests for us? Post in the comments!!
Come check out our late November TBR! And share yours!! If I could have found turkeys I would have used them, but who doesn't love a stinky kitty?

Losers Club parents aesthetic
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Andrea Bertoly - Mother of Stanley Uris
Maggie Baggott - Mother of Richie Tozier
Frank Kaspbrak - Father of Eddie Kaspbrak
Zack Denbrough - Father of Bill Denbrough
Elfrida Marsh - Mother of Beverly Marsh
Will Hanlon - Father of Mike Hanlon
Went Tozier - Father of Richie Tozier
Martin Hanscom - Father of Ben Hanscom
Headcanon (and in the middle of writing the fanfiction) that the Losers’ parents were friends in their youth too and also had to fight against an us all too well familiar demon clown.
