~ A winter Mage and a warm hearted Hero ~

[A JessiexJudai take, sorry;;]

It was a rather snowy day at Academia, one where the pathways were densely coated under the pile of snow and classes were suspended for the while. Many students went out to relish in the powder for the few days, then started staying in as the weather worsened.

One of which, was a purple haired girl who looked out the window occasionally from her bed.

Her expression rather calm and dazed at the white winds that fogged the outside, turned petrified with worry at the sight of a brown haired boy trudging up the stairs.

Jessie pushed aside her belongings and rushed out the door, helping Judai up as much as she could , given her stature.

"Why are you out here?! I thought you were inside with Chumly, since it's been ghastly outside?"

Judai managed to stutter out half a sentence, but as they reached Jessie's doorway, his weight grew heavier as he started to shake violently.

"Why.. would you even... step outside... like this?!"

She opened the door way and trudged inside with the limping boy, setting him on her bed as the door slammed shut behind her. Her first priority, getting Judai some warmth.

As she handed the boy her warm cup of cinnamon tea, she scouted about for a warm set of clothes, but the only male uniform she had was her first, when she had arrived to Academia and they didn't have any fabricated female uniforms in stock her size.

"I guess, it'll do," she took the clothing from the closet and to her slight surprise, Judai had taken his own jacket off, trying to find warmth himself under her blankets, clearly having taken a sip of the drink and leaving it immediately. "Judai-san, you should change first.. You'll get sick if you haven't already."

She handed him the set and only helped him change shirts, the rest, she thought, he could handle just fine, as she didn't want to imply anything. The purple haired girl had left, bundled up to see if she could manage to grab two trays from the dining room, only to find it empty with two trays left half picked at.

Great.. thanks for sparing me the trouble of sharing guys...

She thought, looking behind at the small kitchen. There wasn't much, but there was a single egg,small bits of leftover rice and a handful of sardines that everyone seemed to make vanish.

After looking around to see no one came in, she cooked the egg and managed to reheat the rice and make the fish slightly tolerable.

Maybe Judai wouldn't mind. But I do,

She muttered, making a fowl face towards the smell and setting the water from the egg in a container and into her own jacket.

She covered the food under two plates, trying to tape them shut and left quickly upstairs. When she entered the room however, she was surprised to see that Judai had fallen asleep and had set his cold soggy clothes over the trash bin.

Jessie shook her head and set the plates down on the nightstand, opening the container of water and dipping a small piece of towel in it, setting it over the boy's feet, chest and forehead.

I've only ever seen him sleep in class, but never this peacefully, she hummed to herself, he's quite serene and almost tranquil when he isn't off dueling for others...

She stared at the brown haired boy, almost reluctant to touch his face to see if it were real.

"If you wanted to check me out, you could have done so while I changed."

The remark took her off guard and she nearly lost her balance on the side of the bed.

"How dare you?! I'm trying to help you from your hypothermia and THAT'S the first thing you have to say?!"

He chuckled at her flustered expression, enjoying the fact he can torment her this way.

"You know, you could have just let Syrus take care of me. Granted he stopped by before things got so bad."

"If I had known," She looked down at her snow covered boots, "I'd still have you here. I wouldn't let you trudge back down and make you wait on a half opening door."

Judai smiled, taking off the towel from his head and sitting up, taking the girl's hand in his.

"I thank you, still. I'm pretty sure I'd be a popsicle by now."

Jessie flushed at the gesture,

"Hah, I'm sure you'd be an awful tasting popsicle though," she giggled. She was abruptly silenced as Judai pulled her close.

"Wanna put that to the test?~" He smirked, relishing the small victory of making her blush.

It was short lived as Jessie shoved him off and threw a pillow over his face, and in a fit of judai's muffled remarks, she slid the pillow down and gave the boy's nose a kiss, pulling the pillow back over his face.

"D-don't you DARE tell anyone about this Yuki, or I swear I'll suffocate you!"

The muffled, I promise!, from the boy was enough proof for the purple haired girl, as she lifted the pillow off him, and he returned the gesture upon her cheek.

She lightly felt her cheek as Judai smirked in her direction, giving a frustrated growl,

"Just eat your food, it'll get cold!"
