Zolus LOVES being outside. He opted to sleep outdoors in the snow fall today, in the cave I made from him from old textile art and a couch cushion. Slept there maybe 2 hours (I kept checking), just watching the snow fall. Can you imagine the peace. It's early days in the livingroom cat circus training. We are not quite mastering "sit" on a pedestal and we've got crazy eye from treat frenzy. Then the brother from another mother comes up from a basement nap and that's the end of the lesson. Missy went to her furever home yesterday! When I picked her up off the porch in December she could barely breathe from a massive sinus and bronchial infection, snot frozen to her face, an oozing ear, dehydrated, hypothermic, and lethardic... 3 weeks later, all health restored, fur in pristine clean condition, much fatter, playful, oh so affectionate, and confidently playing and sleeping wherever in the open, including laps and underfoot in the middle of the kitchen. She is joining another young cat and I hope they keep each other good company. Kisses into your deep soft neck fur little Missy. For me it's the first adoption of a socialized feral kitten I have rescued, and other than our own feral adoptions of Zolus and Luca.
