MAG 030: Killing Floor

Ahhhhhhh oh godddd

Fuck this was a rough one, this was maybe the roughest one yet. There was SO much shit I hated.

The extended description of the way a slaughterhouse works was the worst bit. Like, I knew all of this before, but I hate to have to hold it front of mind. Especially the image of the screaming from the animals, and especially the description of how they’re technically alive when they bleed out. Even though it isn’t the foremost reason I’m vegetarian, it made me really fucking glad I was vegetarian while I was listening to it.

I also hate the supernatural shit, which was the worker being transported to an enormous slaughterhouse, happening upon a massive pit of meat, and realizing that some of the bodies being churned up might be human. Hate the idea of humans being systematically, mechanically murdered. I ALSO hate the ending, because of the focus on self-harm.

Fucking spookiest shit ever, boys. No thanks.
