Ah! Glad you love that post! Although it was mirabel that made the arepas. Sorry if the was confusion in that… but guy i am done with break and will do madrigalcest week! Im planning on making oneshots for it 😗 but anyone is free to make fan art! From what I remember it is in march so i gotta prepare! But thank you for the suggestion i will definitely consider it!

Mirabel wants so much more than youthful experiments, he understands this now. And after months of contemplation, he knows that he shares those desires. He wants to fall asleep next to her every night, and kiss her awake each morning for the rest of their lives. He wants to feel the warmth of her skin and the weight of her body on his. He aches with these wants, unable to do anything about them. He can’t even confess, because he knows that Mirabel would never risk losing the relationship she has built with Abuela, and he can’t stomach the idea of making her choose.

Now, the elephant in the room:

The dates. There was a bit of a complication, and the voting resulted in a tie. We thought about it and decided to run a second poll to finally settle on a good timeframe, rather than handpick a date ourselves without community input. This poll will be open for FIVE (5) DAYS. The results will be published on FEBRUARY 13TH. There are only two options and, this time around, the current results are public as soon as you vote. It should be quick and painless.

We hate stretching the voting process for so long, but we thought it would be the best option. Until the date is confirmed, please operate under the assumption that the date closest to us will be selected, as to not run out of time thinking you have more days than you do.

The two options are: FEBRUARY 28th - MARCH 6th or MARCH 14th - MARCH 20th

Before voting, think about the prompts. Do you have any ideas lately? How long do you think it will take you to finish your fanwork? How long do you think it will take your fellow fans?

It is fixed! Please, remember to submit your work to the Madrigalcest Week 2022 Collection, not the Madrigalcest Week collection, as this one serves as a parent collection to other collections specific to future yearly Madrigalcest Weeks, and will remain closed.

EDIT: A little change of plans. There appear to be some technical problems difficulting the use of the Madrigalcest Week 2022 Collection. Until it's fixed, please feel free to submit your work to the Madrigalcest Week Collection instead. Authors will be sent an invitation to add their works to the correct collection once the problem has been dealt with.

This event was simply fantastic. You guys must be one of the nicest communities out there; the sheer creativity and artistic power is truly inspiring, and watching everyone have fun in peace and without any hate or petty conflict is what made this event so nice to witness. We send you from here congratulations! Thank you for making Madrigalcest Week the best it could have been!

Through the course of the week, 48 works have been reblogged to the official Tumblr blog, 60 works were added to the Ao3 Collection, and 218 works were retweeted to the official Twitter account!
