Hejsan world & welcome to Claes Göran online! I've had the honor, anxiety and excitement of being part of opening my fair share of physical stores over the years, didn't know you get the same thrill building one online. But you do! Spending your time on your files, row by row, column by column, over and over. Getting everything organized and as right as possible. The checking of all the info, adding the pictures, all of it sounds like nothing, I know - but oh all the things that can go wrong. All the exporting and importing of information... I've never done anything like this before. A work where there simply are no shortcuts, no way to cut lanes but only one way forward. Row by row, column by column. It took us three weeks to get everything in order, but now we're finally shoppable and opening our door to the whole world! And now we can't wait to get working on that content and keep building... Bon Jour Le' World! To be honest the fashion industry is mostly about logistics, carrying a lot of things, the moving of products, the jungle of production, cleaning (offices, stockrooms, store space and later the home), counting (more counting) and in small companies like ours, often with minimum time to actually be inspired and even more minimum time to feel fashionable... This is n o t the industry to aim for if you have your eyes on the fast, easy, big money but more if you have a passion! A passion for cultures, fabrics, technical developement, travels, how to combine business with the perfect balance mind-heart and above all have a passion for people. That is true of us and probably at least a few more of the amazing brands showing in this beautiful venue in Paris over the weekend @manwomanshows. And at this fair, twice a year, we're allowed to both be inspired, feel fashionable and feel part of where it all happens 😊.
