Summary:

Barons control land and monopolies over commodities like opium and fuel, trading amongst themselves to maintain the peace. Each baron is served by a massive workforce of slaves called cogs, as well as a prostitute class called dolls. A baron maintains power through an army of young men and women called clippers: highly trained and loyal warriors, clippers are forbidden from marrying and having children lest their loyalties be divided. Each clipper force is captained by a regent.

Several groups exist outside the strict hierarchy of the barons. Nomads are the most common, mostly lawless homicidal bandits who subsist on stealing from trade convoys between the baronies but some live in organized clans. The River King and his men control water trade in the Badlands and beyond, and is considered a neutral party in the barons' power struggles. An ascetic religious movement called the Totemists is also shown to exist on the fringes of society, living in isolated communities and practicing a form of idol worship. The Widow leads a revolutionary group of anti-feudal fighters from her late husband's barony; although nominally recognized as a baron by her peers, they do not respect her, and the contempt is mutual.

Little is known of the world beyond the Badlands, but it is implied that it is far less politically stable yet environmentally sound like the Badlands. The mythical utopian city of Azra is believed to exist outside the Badlands, but most dismiss it as a legend.

¿La maldición de Charmed? 

No es la primera vez ni será la última que este elenco vuelva a las noticias. Cuando la CW anunció no solo un reboot de Charmed, sino que este sería con actrices nuevas, más jóvenes y más diversas, y sobre todo, que no tendría ninguna relación con el original, Combs y MacGowan sintieron que era una falta de respeto y criticaron ferozmente al nuevo elenco por Twitter (Ahora X) y las nuevas "Hechizadas" no se quedaron calladas. El reboot de "Charmed" no funcionó muy bien que digamos y aunque duró 4 temporadas, no llegó a los niveles de popularidad que su predecesora. En lo que parece ser la maldición de "Charmed", Madeline Mantock, quien hacía de Macy Vaughn, la hermana mayor del nuevo trío, algo así como la "Prue" de la serie, decidió abandonar la serie en la tercera temporada y su personaje muere tras luchar con un demonio… al igual de lo que sucedió con la Prue de Doherty. Con el tiempo, estoy segura de que seguirán saliendo más revelaciones sobre "Charmed" en algún podcast o algún libro que reúna toda la historia que se ha ido revelando en estos podcasts, en las convenciones y entrevistas. Podría llamarse "the book of Charmed" o “El desencanto de Charmed”.

When They were cast some ppl decided They dont look Latine and it's gross. I do not ship actors IRL but I love the chemistry and friendship of Madeline and Rupert.  I laugh during their chats, and the beautiful nuggets.  Learning that 1) Rupert did think of an idea when Macy shared that she could read Harry’s thoughts.  2) The dance at the end of the last episode was an improvise.

Charmed CW: In Your Eyes (Hacy S2.02)

This is a mini Spotify playlist/fanmix/scene tribute I made inspired by the end of episode 2 of Charmed CW S2. Which I love.

This scene to me perfectly illustrates how and why we went from hope to promise.

We were happy, and nothing hurt.

So here's back to hoping that these two will once again link arms, get back on and continue down the road they were on toward their destination. However long it is.

A road paved with the sentiments in these songs. As I see it, anyway.

But whatever comes and goes...

This 3ish minutes were/are a perfect moment.

Inspiration started for the larger version that this is a part of with the first two episodes, but will cover all episodes I have musical inspiration (and ship hope) for.

POV (point of view) is all Macy.

Not really in chronological order with the parts of the scene, but in the feel of all of it.

Music is limited sources but these songs are hopefully mostly spot on and fairly obvious what it's referencing. Ask if they're not!

When Steve Lang's song came on the radio, the lyric and the situation made me think of this song.
