Okay so I watched the first two episodes

First episode was lowkey boring af I couldn’t remember half of it, what I do remember Lestat and Louis levitating butt naked mid air for some reason. Second episode was definitely better, like both of them fighting than going to sleep in their coffins but lestat kept talking about how he didn’t want to sleep angry was so😭😭 ALSO LOUIS’S MOM GAGGING HIM over his clean nails and glasses💀 and that dessert at the end of episode 2 looked so fucking good my mouth was watering. There’s probably more that I’m missing but idk

Anyways I can’t wait for Claudia to show up🙏

👣 some of the biggest influences on my writing are the authors I read and loved growing up. Cynthia Voigt, Jerry Spinelli, Gordon Korman, Louis Sachar, Beverly Cleary, Lois Lowry, and Madeleine L’Engle… as well as whoever was ghostwriting all those Babysitters Club books for Ann M. Martin lmao

💀 there was one, and I regretted it so much I took it off Ao3. It was written when I was still very new to… well, not the fandom, I’ve been watching Stranger Things since it came out… but the weird social media side of the fandom, I guess? The side where all the ugly ship wars lurk. I had written a little one shot about Steve having an extremely one-sided crush on Eddie and feeling jealous of Chrissy. Then like a week later I discovered the Steddie vs Hellcheer war and thought oh crap, I better delete that one… and now you know my dirty little secret. 😜

I’m stuck on the last part of the fic—the present-day bit: “They were together. They had another baby on the way. He’d done the right thing. And yet, he couldn’t help but wonder what might have been. If he had known Riley was pregnant; when she had left after the coronation… would things have turned out differently? Would they have chosen a different path? Would he have married Riley instead of Madeleine? Scandal be damned.”

The dealer once again crunched his snacks gleefully. “My dude, that is what we call sex pollen!”

Olivia coughed as she balled up more of her skirt to cover her nose and mouth. Her eyes narrowed upon the multiple sets of bodies writhing in ecstasy around her. While she side stepped her way around them, she tried to keep her mind clear of the powerful effects of the gas.

Someone in here has to still be in their right frame of mind, she kept repeating silently to herself.

She needed to find them and try and figure a way out without getting caught by the masked men. As she walked through Ramsford, she glanced back at the sight of Madeleine riding Riley's little press secretary. It was odd that after the first masked men came in, he'd followed a little while later wearing one too.

Not paying attention to where she was going, she bumped into a solid form and nearly tumbled to the ground.

"You okay?" Maxwell asked, grasping her around the waist.

"I'm fi--where are your clothes?!"

"It's a party." He quirked an eyebrow at her. "You know I always strip down by the end of the night."

"Right." She rolled her eyes. "But it isn't the end of the night yet."

"Everyone else started doing it." Maxwell shrugged. "I couldn't let them all get the drop on me this year."

"Nevermind." She involuntarily snuggled closer within his arms. "Did you notice the gas that was pumped in earlier?"

"Yeah. I had a fog machine set to go off at midnight. It must have somehow gotten triggered earlier." His dimples deepened with his grin. "I had the most epic strip tease planned where I come into the room at the beat--"

"It isn't fog!" Her cheeks heated with the thought of him stripping and dancing. "Look at everyone! Does this happen when fog rolls in?"

"Not usually." He mumbled, seeing that this had gotten completely out of hand.

"Whatever is in this gas, it is making everyone react like this." She brushed her body against his. "Why aren't you affected?"

"Huh." He scratched the side of his face while looking about. "I have absolutely no idea."

Maxwell grasped her arms to keep her still.

"Um, Liv? You're starting to act like them."

"I know!" She snapped, trying to get a grip on her baser emotions. "It's taking all my willpower to not knock you to the floor right now."

"Really?" His grin grew wider. "Then what would you do?"

"I would rip my dress off and then--NOW IS NOT THE TIME!"

"Seems like the right time to ask that." He teased.

"Dear God. Of all the people still in their right minds, why are you the only one?" Olivia cried out.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm immune."

He grabbed her hand to take her to a place without people copulating to distract them.

"Could you put some clothes on, please!" She pleaded, her eyes darting to his extremely toned backside.

He glanced over his shoulder and noticed where she was staring.

"We'll head to my room."

"Yes, please."

Olivia didn't know if she was begging him to take her there for his clothes or for an actual bed to begin to do all the wicked thoughts she was having.

You're having them about Maxwell Beaumont, she reminded herself. Maxwell, did dance really make his body this desireable, Beaumont.

Maxwell led her up the back stairs. They stepped over the few servants who had gotten hit with the gas, while also ducking under a rather adventurous noble and acrobat.

"You know?" Maxwell shut his bedroom door behind her. "This kinda reminds me of this one party I went to."

"What happened?" Olivia felt unusually hot in a room only lit by one lone lamp.

"I was in California and got invited by this group of hot models to come party it up in Malibu with them. It was some kind of rager."

He slipped on some silk boxers then searched for a pair of pants.

"Anyway," he continued, "this fog machine started up and the whole place just went full on orgy. It was wild!"

He turned around while pulling on a fresh button up shirt. His jaw dropped at the sight of Olivia standing in front of him completely naked.

"Then what happened?" She reached past him for a magazine and began to fan her heated body.

"Umm...well...the group I came in with kinda piled on me and we had our own orgy outside at the pool."

He stumbled back and hit his dresser when Olivia draped her arms around his neck.

"Did you ever discover what it was that triggered it?" She pressed her lips to his throbbing pulse point then trailed them down his body.

"Some kind of sex pollen, I think, is what the host said. Makes all your inhibitions drop but notches your sexual desire to like a thousand."

"That makes sense. Whoever pumped this in here must have used that. But why?"

She slid her hands along his abs, trailing her nails up and down his chest.

"Is that a hippopotamus?" She blinked at the unusual tattoo.

"Yeah."

Somehow that image of the baby animal made her mind clear for a moment.

"Oh god! Why didn't you stop me?!" She snapped, moving quickly away from him.

"You caught me off guard!" He jerked his shirt closed. "Plus we were talking."

"When have I ever caressed and kissed you while talking?!" She demanded, snatching up her clothes.

"In reality, never." He mumbled.

Olivia huffed as she tried to zip her dress.

"Wait a minute. Why did you stress in reality?"

"Umm. Okay." He ran his hands through his hair. "You may or may not be the source of all my fantasies."

"Maxwell!" She could feel the need to get undressed again taking over.

"What? You're gorgeous! We both like playing with sharp objects. You scare me just enough to where I know sex would never be boring. I've pictured us getting--" He confessed.

"STOP!" She slammed her hand over his mouth. "Not another word about what you've imagined."

"Sorry!" His muffled response was said into her hand.

"Damnit!" Olivia moaned over the feeling of his lips and stubble brushing against her palm. "Kiss me. But just once!"

Her hand slid up into his hair right when his mouth slammed down on hers. She was surprised at what a good kisser he was. His tongue tangling with hers made her want more. So. Much. More.

He clutched her close to him as they broke apart for a second. Every part of his body screamed he take advantage of the situation to finally live out his fantasies while she was unable to control herself. Then his conscience reminded him he wasn't that type of guy.

His breath was ragged as he reminded her they needed a plan of action.

"You're right." Her chest heaved with deep breaths.

She couldn't stop staring at his mouth, imagining all the delicious things it could do to her body.

"Liv?" Maxwell hesitantly asked.

"Right. Save everyone." She repeated to herself. "Then make you use that mouth of yours all over my body."

"Whoa." Maxwell breathed. "You want that too?"

"STOP TALKING!" She roared. "Or I will be forced to hurt you!"

"Oh yeah?" He grinned at her.

"Yeah." She gripped his arm. "Out. Now."

"Where are we going?"

"To see if there is anyone left who can help us." She propelled him out into the upstairs hallway.

DEER!!! MY LOVE!!!!!! I ALREADY UPDATED YOU KINDA???? But omg. Let me give you a full run down. Buckle up because this is gonna be LONG, probably.

First of all, the rainbow project. Seriously. Thank the heavens and gods for all the lovely people who helped me with that. @loubluestuff, @justiceforfineline, @nothingbutsunflowers and Shlo, @ballerina-harrystyles, @almightyprincess and Madeleine! You guys were incredible!!!!!!!!!!!

Generally, 99% of the people were just fantastic! So kind, so enthusiastic, so happy to help. I'm blown away. We ran out of flags by 4pm. We brought 900 flags and there were many people who had brought their own as well. During the show it was practically impossible to take a single picture without a flag in the frame. People held them up for every. single. song. I noticed it especially with Habit, and of course the main one: Only the Brave. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

I went in with a couple friends who arrived late so I didn't use my number, even though I had one (844). We ended up quite far in the back, but from the people I know who were up front, they said it was very intense. There were apparently people who were very pushy and unkind. In the back, I didn't notice any of that. Everyone around us was wonderful and kind.

Only the Poets was amazing! They filmed another part of their music video and they announced that since their show in Vienna in November had already sold out, they're switching to a bigger venue!

I found it incredibly amusing that before they came on people were chanting "OTP" because when we were handing out the papers for the lights downstairs the first two colours that we used up were blue and green and there were just. A lot of larries. Chanting "OTP."

They gave out water before the show. When a girl fainted during Beautiful War, they stopped the show after the song and started giving out water again while Louis and the band left. It seemed that they somehow weren't prepared for this from the venue's side because they ran out of water and cups?? At least that's what I heard. This practice in general is very unusual (as my friend @gaming-fish pointed out), just as the fact that they played a track multiple times that told people to take a step back, not to throw things, and that security had water. It worked out okay and it seemed the people around the girl who fainted helped her as best as they could. I also saw multiple people who were responsible and went to the back during the show when they didn't feel well.

Louis. Fucking Louis. He was radiant even from the very back. The crowd was LOUD and he loved it. There was a moment, I don't remember exactly which song, when he literally skipped from one side of the stage to the other and it was ADORABLE.

The note change in 7 was incredible. Getting to scream PRINCESS PARK at him with all my might was unreal. During Two of Us I almost found it hard to connect to him because the crowd had so much energy, but when I managed to find his voice and focus on it... It was so good. At the very end his voice broke away slightly and my heart shattered. It was beautiful. The other fan project during Walls worked great as well. Screaming "you were my because" with all his encouragement was... yeah. It felt real.

Now the rainbows. The RAINBOWS. ONLY THE BRAVE. FUCK IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. WE WORKED SO HARD FOR A MONTH AND WE DID OUR VERY BEST TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AND THEN IT DID AND JESUS CHRIST ON A BICYCLE I'M GONNA CRY AGAIN.

I was a little bit too far back to see the gallery lights fully, but I'm sure someone will have a better picture or video. Here's my pictures and my video. At the end of the video he sings a note so beautiful that when I listened back to it, I cried. It felt so absolutely unreal to see that same sea of pride flags, now all raised high, and to see all those colourful lights upstairs and pointed at him and... and to know that all of these people were kind and supportive, creating a safe space for him and for us. And the most unbelievable part for me is that.. we did that. I did that. I don't think I will ever get over that.
